I used this same product for my car. But It doesn't remove small scratches. Just it fades some layer of paint. So scratches will looks dull. But definitely it fades shining of your car. After using this product. you should use wax coating on your car for Reshining your car.
rubbing compound is basically an abrassive paste meaning its a sand paper. It doesnt dissolve or react with the car paint. it acts like a sand paper. so when you apply rubbing compound what you are actually doing is sanding down the paint. it even out undulations in paint surface by acting as a liquid sand paper. it doesnt leave scratch marks unlike with the sand paper. so remember whenever you are using rubbing compound you are sanding the surface.

It is not sand papper. It has thinner inside it that cuts and spreads paint. Sandpapper will leave scratches on ur car
What happens after washing
Cutting away clear coat.then u should always seal the surface with wax etc

yup just few days ago one cyclist dash on my scooter while i was crossing the road while looking behind for incoming vehicle. The paint of the cycle got stuck to my front fender. I just went to wash my scooter at washing center but that paint did not came off. That guy applied rubbing compound on it and the paint vanished like magic.

Use sand paper 2000 number.
But this process for professionals only.
Never do headlights on your own..after polishing the headlights always get clear coat sprayed on them or don't polish them otherwise they will turn very bad after sometime
