I am so glad you made this video. I went into the Tory Birch store and purchased a bag 1 month ago and I was like " am I crazy, these bags seem to be of such higher quality than those at the outlet." Then I came home and did a side by side video of an outlet bag verses the one I had just purchased and sent ot to my mother and it was clear. The hardware of the purse from the outlet was substantially lighter along with the quality of the leather So, thank you. You have confirmed that how I was feeling was the true.😊 great video

Loved this format! You can see the huge quality decrease even on camera. Honestly for the outlet price, I’d rather buy something with a high quality leather - I just ordered a Florentine leather satchel from D&B for under $400 new. I think if someone wants to pay for the TB brand it’s better to buy a retail bag even if it’s preloved. Never been to a TB outlet - thank you for the tour!

I find Tory Burch outlet pieces are superior to the other brands BUT for outlet pieces they tend to be highly priced where I'd rather buy boutique pieces that aren't that far off in pricing!

I came here to see the Kira Chevron small black shoulder bag but there was everything else but, lol :) but stayed and enjoyed the retail and outlet comparison. You put so much effort into it especially being able to hold camera in one hand and handle bags at the same time, very skilled. The straw one is stunning but a few hundred bucks more. The US must have spring season stuff as I didn't see the Kira Chevron pink, cream etc...I've got the pink camera style bag very cute but a little small, so I know the quality is great and tend to buy when they have a sale. Awesome job :)

On the outlet Willa line, I feel like the exterior and the textile lining are very comparable to the Kira quality, but do agree that the inside flap has a dramatic difference. most of the other lines from the outlet have greater differences in quality from retail imo...

I know this is old but I have both the Kira quilted from retail and 2 glazed Willas from the outlet. Love all 3 but hate the clasp on the Kira because that magnet just does not stay closed and it annoys me to no end! I'm ok with the Willa quality but wasn't freaking much else at the outlet though. The Lee Radziwill is on my list though!

Yes hun I share your sentiments. The outlet bags are cute but was shook at the prices for the quality! Yikes. Unless there is a super sale I'd rather just put that money toward a great quality retail bag like the Kira.
The Kira has so many beautiful designs, itd be better forsure! 🙈💛
Thank you for making this video, it was very eye opening. I think I’d skip the outlet the difference in quantity is dramatic ( in my opinion).
Outlets mostly make sense if you find a boutique bag that was surplused to the outlet. Otherwise I would wait for the boutique sale.
It’s not horrible, the prices are fair but I’d rather save or pay more for the boutique quality. I got a Fleming Shoulder bag at the boutique. I checked the outlet and there was nothing close to that quality.
I like the double features check out the coach retail pride collection that just came out and then the coach outlet will feature more bags on the 18th of may just in time for memorial day sales.
Double features might need to be a new series 😁💛👜 I noticed the Pride Collection but sadly yall gotta wait til next week for that video 🙈

I'm still debating whether I should get the kira chevron, MK soho or loulou from YSL. Looking for a black bag that can be versatile (use it for casual wear or somewhat formal/date nights at a nice restaurant lol).
In my honest opinion, the Soho is great for like every style and every occasion. it has a specific edge and sophistication to it the other 2 dont. While I really love the Kira and Lou Lou, they both have more of a “feminine” edge and would suite specific styles rather than the broad spectrum. But thats is only my personal opinion 😁 I hope this helps!

I went to my nearest Tory Burch concession and guess what… it was replaced by JW Pei 🤦🏽♀️ so now my nearest is London so I’ll have to pop by after work later in the month. I’m sure we don’t get all these gorgeous bags in the UK like how you do.

This department store has coach, Chloe, Kate spade, Michael cors as well as high end stuff so is the best place to see a range in one place and I couldn’t believe they moved out Tory Burch! At least the Tory Burch in London is opposite Coach so not too far to go but SO annoying! No idea how popular that brand is but they got a mention in vogue 🤷🏽♀️
@@rbags934 I think JW is an up and coming handbag/luxury brand that is more suited to vegans(?). As well, if Im not mistaken, I seen the Vogue piece you are talking about and somewhere on the page it says all brands paid to be in the article 🙈

I honestly didn't know they are totally different from those one u showed in your video.. The t logo is not good to me.. Also the stitches inside off.. The t logo is pass the stitches.. I saw the ones u show how its above the stitch..

@@beatricethompson4340 Im not fully well versed into Tory Burch and how they work the retail boutique pieces into the Outlet stores. BUT because Tory Burch is SO expensive, I could see them moving less than perfect pieces into Outlet in order to sell them and not throw them in the garbage. Often times these brands will move retail pieces that dont sell to Outlets as well, so it could have been like a factory defect and instead of tossing it they sold it at Outlet for a discounted price.
Lastly the only thing I can think of is that the bag is just an older model. Tory Burch, from what I can tell, moved to better materials for hardware and such this year with the newest releases. The ones shown in the video are the newest pieces, so it could be that you got a Kira bag from 2021 or 2020. I hope this helps Beatrice! And I hope you still love the bag 😁💛
