I get it, I get their love. He gave her something that not even stefan gave her, the realization that someone can simply want you and see you just as you are and love you before anyone else. He didnt need to see her beauty and kind heart after years, he saw it quickly. He made her first before everyone else surrounding him and it was shocking because he was around for so long, so for him to see it made her special. She gave him the first sign of him being able to redeem himself through the realization that things could have been different for him, better. He can be better despite all that went wrong in his life.They were the truest of friends because they gave something to each other that couldn't have been given by anyone else but to each other. Sometimes love doesn't always work out because of the wrong time and where life is taking you so you have to give it up. If it was a different time, they were mortals just simply living, their hearts would have completely belonged to just each other. In another life, another time...their love could have changed the world....😭😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤ I think that is why people gravitate toward this ship because it's so real....😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔

Caroline (and Kol? I mean, I wouldn't count him but I guess I should) is the only vampire left from the ones who once were regulars in both shows.
Klaus and Elijah are freaking dead. Stefan, Elena and Damon died human. Rebekah turns human thanks to Damon. So now Caroline has to live eternity ALONE because Julie Plec couldn't let her be happy with Klaus.
Klaroline deserved to be endgame and Caroline deserved Klaus to stay by her side. Poor girl's probably thinking she's cursed because every man who loves her dies :/

The ending was so unnecessarily sad, and the klaroline was beautifully bittersweet. Julie Plague can literally fling herself into space over thinking that was a good way to end everything.

I read one of her interviews and she said that when she killed a character for the first time-vicki, everybody suddenly started to notice the series. So she did this to earn more fame. She didn't even care how devastated the people would be, in fact, that is what she wanted. And after I read it I stopped liking her because she wants people to suffer just to earn more fame, it's kinda twisted if you ask me

GlowingAprilSky I honestly could have been fine with that ending if it was written well. Because there's something really beautiful yet heartbreaking in both Klaus&Elijah dying. Unfortunately, though out the entire episode I was thinking of ways for them to get out of this mess and I was soo frustrated when they didn't. Like, why can't they put the hollow into an animal or hell if the need a vampire why not take a criminal and turn him into one. Why not split the hollow again? And when Elijah decided to die either way I just wanted Klaus to say "Hell, if you wanna die than just take my place. I don't wanna leave my daughter alone." I mean Hope is an orphen now. With no one to look after her. I'd even have to say it felt like they didn't care that much about her 🤷♀️
Exactly my thoughts. When i read that someone will be dying, i was also thinking it would be k&e. But i imagined something a lot different, better. This literally felt like a soap opera to me haha With all the cheesy writing, it seems like they ran out of creative ideas and thought about it for like 5minutes.
I hated how the family gave up. They fought for 1000 years to live and then in the final episode they just excepted fate. Idk I understand Klaus and elijah dying and can even justify it. I just hate how after like 8 years of watching these characters, this was the first time they didn't fight until the bitter end...
God i wish if there a movie will gather them together there story must be continued they deserve a happy ending
