Bro i too faced the same problem..and i get very sad because of this...and I decided to not open app for 1 day..and cleared all chrome history..after 1day i try to login and then i got new otp...so the solution is don't open app for 1day then try it would work
Ya this worries people to people some are not getting it in one day, so i have said 3-4 days, some are getting before that too.

In my experience, delete eFootball - delete chrome data - then try downloading eFootball again - then try logging into the account if it still doesn't work - + 5 days
I feel the same, to uninstall but here many people have not proper internet to Download the game the gane has become large now
