I'm not gonna lie, I'm so brain rotted from watching Wrestling Bios that I can't watch David Flair get hit by a car without immediately singing "Now that your Daddy's gone..."
So I believe as a fellow Michigander the reason why Nash did Grand Wizard was because of Grand Wizard being huge as a manager in Big Time Wrestling in Detroit and Nash as a Detroiter wanted to pay homage.
WCW creating an undertaker level gimmick and putting it on an S-tier worker like Dustin only to immediately have him break character and bury gimmicks as a concept is the most Russo thing ever
This blew my mind when I found out, but it was Dustin who came up with the idea of Seven *before* Russo rejoined WCW. It was actually Russo that put a stop to it. Dustin confirmed it himself via a tweet back in 2020.
@degande-d1w so Dustin says that Goldust, a heavily Homoerotic gimmick, which was slightly weird but not as weird as 7, was what killed his career, but he was all hands on deck for the Underdiddler. Hm.
Just got a bag of weed and this pops up... got my Saturday afternoon planned now! I watched VvEdits sync again last week, can't wait to see your take on this classic episode
The debut of Se7en isn’t even the most insane thing on this show. David Flair stalking Kimberly, Bam Bam Bigelow being counted out of anywhere, Outsiders bullshit, The god damn Arnawhars K Mart promo from AC Jazz! This show is a car wreck in the most fun way
Bret Hart was the only guy who could pull off a tucked in shirt and shorts. And he was never a single name guy, he would always call people by their full name. What a goat lol.
You should make a retro sync compilation of all the created moves they find during their reviews, for example, the Ballcrusher move or whatever from the most recent review because id love to get a visual for these dangerous creations
This is why I laugh when people cope and say the Finger Poke of Doom wasn't the beginning of the end for WCW. It happened at the beginning of the year and this is where they ended up by the end of the year. What the hell else would you call it?
Aww, you didn't include Evan Keragis getting into a brawl with a referee, that was my favorite part. (The ref threw the first punch!) Still though, good to see more syncs.
It's honestly refreshing to see a setup for a clip being played by the truck on behalf of a wrestler with Sid threatening the nerd, even though it was over 25 years ago
@@thatdamnbradley I mean, going full-bore into the surrounding sports-entertainment stuff isn't necessarily bad. But there's an art to that, and Russo's kayfabe moebius strip only results in making everything seem meaningless.

AFTER 1 LONG MONTH, THE KINGPIN HAS COME BACK TO UA-cam
After 4 BORING WEEKS.... We finally have some 🪙 worthy content on UA-cam
Kingpin? Kingpin is this jabroni's name?!
I like how much disdain Bret puts into saying Goldberg's name. It's not merely "Bill Goldberg," it's BILLGOLDBERKG." What a legend.
DINKGOLDBERG! 🤬😡
Like how Warrior always called Hogan HOKOGEN
Bret treated Dubbya See Double-U as a straight shoot 😅😂

The running bit of using "Nazi Punks F*ck Off" for the Harris Bros is fantastic.
