"A conservative news site co-founded by Ben Shapiro secretly obtained a gag order against its former host Candace Owens even while publicly negotiating to debate her, according to a new report.
The Daily Wire, which "ended its relationship" with Ms Owens in March after clashes over Israel and antisemitism, has repeatedly said it wants to organise a debate between her and Mr Shapiro."

Judaism is a religion not a race. All religious followers and religions should be criticize if they are wrong.

Nah it's not that. She put out segments with absurd accusations all the time which likely hurt the DW brand. She rarely does due diligence in a sufficient way and goes on long unsubstantiated rants. That's how she ended up spreading rumors about the wife of France's PM, defending Andrew Tate, Kanye after he praised Hitler and why she doesn't push back against any of the controversial guests she had. I'm guessing she became a big liability and violated her contract in some way. Glenn Greenwald's report is biased and barely includes any sources so that's not a reliable place to start.

@@anacc3257 She praised Hitler before she was even hired by the DW...they knew who they were hiring ie a useful idiot who could spread a right wing talking point that was typically antithetical to the plight of black people in America (because addressing that plight requires some government intervention).
They knew they weren't hiring the brightest or the person who would do their due diligence in researching a specific topic (look up her demented PragerU video about slavery as an example) but they knew she would be effective because she was black and could marginalize actual issues facing black communities without being labeled a racist (her black card).
She only became a liability when she started pushing openly antisemitic conspiracy theories or marginalizing issues facing Jewish communities.
There is a much bigger theme at play here and thats the alignment of conservative Jews with Christian conservatives that is losing its appeal with nationalists who are becoming increasingly more prevalent in the right wing sphere of influence.
What a little weasel, calling their lawyer behind the scenes while they're talking a big game in public.

Depending upon how they're written non-disclosure agreements, non-compete agreements, and non-disparagement agreements are 100% valid and enforceable, even after you've been terminated.
And just an FYI, writing in all caps with a plethora of exclamation points doesn't automatically make your statements more believable, or true.
They cannot claim disparagement after they agreed to a debate about the public exchange between them. Well, they can make any claim, yet it won't hold. Candace has already kept silent and taken the heat in other public exchanges to prevent bad publicity for the other person. She will probably do the same here. She's honest, direct and principled.

man, Ana really really really really hates Vaush. The problem with how she approaches critique of him is that it just sounds so personal from her, it overshadows any legit concerns to bring up or points you want to make.
The problem for me is, while vaush is an a-hole and may well be a creep (I'm not well-versed in the allegations against him), he serves a very important purpose for the left. He reaches demographics that the left has largely ignored for the past 15 or so years. While I don't believe he's making this massive difference, I do think his content model serves a purpose for the movement.
It's definitely personal, because she definitely didn't care about the other "creep" allegations/revelations while she was buddys with him 1-1.5 years ago.
