Features I wish to see i the future:
- Free Roam mode:
Players can fly freely or dismount their dragons and chat in the same session. Duel invites ( 1v1 ) in Free Roam session.
- Boss Raid :
Solo / Team of players fight agaisnt a large boss ( maybe a giant flying dragon) or an army of dragons.
- AI bots to fight and practice with.
- Dragon Roar Customization:
Option to change the pitch or tone of your dragon's roar to be more unique to each player.
I would love it if they any of these features! :D

I just hope they add the ability for the dragons to attack tooth and claw at one point or another. It feels like that's the big thing that's missing.

Thanks so much! I totally rearranged my keybindings and it helped so much. I main Phantom, but really like Windguard as well, but I get stressed trying to support others haha. I just practice a ton with maneuvering in free fly mode. My main problem is stamina, and the maps. Practice makes perfect :)

Fell in love with this game over the weekend.
I really enjoy this game, it is lots of fun. I have played all three classes, and I like them all, but, my favorite is the Windguard. I love that she can heal and shield herself as well as nearby allies and make those allies go Berserk. I prefer using her Poison Smoke over her Blast because the smoke has more potential/use. I prefer to use the Mine when playing Phantom because I really like area-denial, which is also why Nightstalker Hunter in Destiny is my favorite to play, I use Quiver so I can take-out and hinder as many enemies as possible, especially in the Crucible. I play her as a Sniper/Assassin, thus I use Scout Rifle, Sniper Rifle/Queenbreaker's Bow, and I switch between Rocket Launcher and Sword. I use Marauder the least because they are too limited/focused/single-minded in terms of uses. Windguard is the most versatile of the three, she can tank, she can dish damage, or she can deny areas to enemies, my only complaint is the sound her Wyvern/"Dragon" makes, I prefer the Shrieking of the Phantom's Wyvern/"Dragon" because it is more intimidating than the roar of the Windguard's Wyvern/"Dragon" at least in my opinion it is more intimidating. I would rather be watching a movie or reading late at night/early in the morning to a low roaring sound than a piercing and shrieking roar. I also love that the Windguard is the only Female class. While I admit I wish you could choose the Sex of the Rider for each class, I am glad that the most versatile and stalwart/defensive/sturdy of the three classes is Female.
I also like Windguard the best because they are the most balanced out of the three classes. Phantom and Marauder should be nerffed or Windguard should be buffed. Phantom and Marauder are too Overly-Powerful
@@SakuragiSayo how is the winguard balanced? With that stupid fart gas the phantoms invis and the tracking of the other class can’t do anything. As a windguard you can just fill 1/4 of a map with gas and kill people from there without consequences then fly a Little then fill up another quarter of a map and repeat

Wrong. Smoke does not have enough area to cover 25% of the map. Marauder does not care about smoke or invisibility, if Hunter's Mark is active, Marauder still tracks whether they are in Smoke or Invisible. Windguard is the most balanced because it is extremely easy to avoid Smoke and it is extremely easy to prevent them from reaching an ally with Salvation Surge. In the very rare instances when they do make it to their ally, their shield is useless because Frost Bolts one-shots the shield just like non-empowered Phantom fireball. The first of the three Frost Bolts that hits instantly destroys the shield leaving the Enemy's HP open to the other two bolts, which each do 25 damage, and because of how fast the Frost Bolt travels, it is impossible to dodge them unless they are lucky enough to be right in front of a wind tunnel. In which case boost into the tunnel and there, you dodged the Frost Bolts, but otherwise they, like enraged Marauder fireballs, are impossible to dodge. Since shields are useless except against enemy Windguards and non-enraged Marauder fireballs, the developers should not have even bothered adding a shield feature. Phantom one-shots shields, with a regular fireball and within 2 seconds of their Flamethrower hitting. Since Marauder instantly resets all cooldowns when they get a kill, it is impossible to kill a Marauder with Gust as their ability. As soon as they get a kill, instantly reset, Gust thus preventing the Fireballs from hitting, kill an enemy, reset cooldown, Gust to prevent fireballs from hitting, and repeat. Thus, Marauder is too powerful. Phantom is too powerful because they one-shot shields, they can cloak every 30 seconds, and their first fireball is empowered and deals 50% extra Damage which puts Windguards at half health and Marauders are still fine and dandy with 75 HP remaining, don't even bother trying to hit Phantoms because they will cloak before you can even get your first attack to hit them. Plus, Phantom when enraged is literally unkillable and ALL their fireballs do 50% extra Damage and they have infinite fireballs just like enraged Marauder has, their fireballs are not as fast as enraged Marauder, but since they both have infinite fireballs it doesn't matter how fast or hard-hitting each individual fireball is. Therefore, Phantom is the most powerful, Marauder is a close second, and Windguard is the weakest out of the three and is the most balanced of the three.
Edit: I have played since both closed beta and open beta, and since the game was launched publicly, the only class that has stayed the same is Windguard. Originally all 3 classes had 100 HP and thus 4 health bars. At the time, all three classes were balanced, but since being released, they empowered Phantom's abilities and Marauder's abilities, they reduced Phantom to 75 HP and increased Marauder to 125 HP. They made it so instead of the 3 classes being balanced, Marauder and Phantom are both significantly more powerful than Windguard, which they have left exactly the same since beta. Unless they nerf Marauder and Phantom or they buff Windguard, until either of those happen, Windguard will be under-powered and violated/out-shone by the two OP classes.
@@SakuragiSayo After starting to play this week this is also me and my friend's obersvation. The smoke is underwhelming because it barely tickles and is easily avoided and worked around.
The fact both classes have shield-breaking features is detrimental. If only one of them did it'd probably feel better.
I also wish the smoke did more damage. As it is it's barely a deterrent.

I wish more people would pay attention to these things. But instead most people want to play O.P classes so they can feel like they have skill, which they don't, that is why you should play the weakest classes, so you actually do get skill

As someone who usually mains support in most other games, I found myself suprisingly drawn to the Phantom class in this one. Never thought I'd feel so comfortable in an assassin type role!

Would be cool to add foot units too with archer/magic/range abilities on top of a castle style land warfare like two separate battles, balanced for both but they both can effect each other too

Finally a game that have dragon in it you don't know how I love this game right now
The only thing that would make this game perfect, is being able to hop off the Dragon and battle it out with the Riders on the ground. I know that defeats the whole purpose of playing a *DRAGON BASED GAME*. However, I believe the game is good enough, to have small skirmishes on the ground like a side thing. When it's finished, hop back on your Dragon and go once more into the fray lol.
I'm really trying to find that button that turns off cross play but I can't seem to find it so I'm forced to play with computer users who have a distinct advantage over console players in this game as they do in so many others.

Changing sensitivity won't do anything to help you turn faster. This game is all about using your brake and boost while you're turning to change the speed that you turn! Check out my advanced movement guide for a little more information on techniques to help you out :)
So your fireballs does less dmg if you spam and needs to recharge for maximum power and you can shoot fireballs at the same time your using firebreath??

Could you do a keybinds video? The default ones just seem off and uncomfortable but I am not sure how to change them for the better.
Personally I was using Space for boost, Shift for brakes and S D were my ability and power respectively. These were the defaults during the beta but aren't very intuitive if you came from a FPS background. They still worked for me though!
@@DustyNG They changed the defaults to something different and I played just a smidge of the beta so I was confused when they had new default keybinds. Thank you for letting me know, I like the old defaults much better. Really appreciate it!

A coordinated team goes a long way. Marauders and windguards are strong in that mode too! If you can wipe a couple enemies before you start the run it'll be much easier too! Good luck :)

take tight turns and use the map to break line of sight as much as you can! More on this in tomorrows video!
Ive been playing for 24hrs and this is my new favorite game! Ive always wanted a good dragon aerial battle game and damn this definitely checks off all the right boxes. For me dodging fire balls is a little hard when not near a pillar to hard bank around but if youre playing phantom and really need to not be hit, invisibilty will unlock projectiles and as long as you move out of the way they will go straight and then you can go in for a sneaky flank with fire blast

There are some tricks to dodging projectiles that I covered in my movement guide that might help you out with that!

This may be a bit random, but the way you collect gold like that, reminds me of Ready Player One.
How do you get bigger fov?
I don't think you can adjust FOV. If you think mine looks bigger it might just be a perspective thing, with speed and a different dragon model it can sometimes look like I'm zoomed out a little more :P

I personally use keyboard and mouse because I've been a PC gamer my whole life and are use to the controls. I think controller gives an advantage for turning while keyboard plus mouse is nice for aiming and locking on a target. I think its down to preference and what you are more comfortable with.

What would you say the over all best and worst class is?
Great question! I think it depends on the gamemode, but Phantom is fantastic in Spoils of War. Windguard is great in Gates of Fire, and Marauder is just kind of solid but not insane at any one thing

You just need to avoid fighting in groups and be able to do quick 180s and 360s when fighting and running.
It's a shame they didn't do more with this game I don't see the servers lasting another year
Bruh ur telling me a ps3 game would let us…unboard our dragon, fight infantry on ground, a tug and pull system,finishing moves where some my rider jumps onto the other riders dragon… dragon vs dragon melee…game looks fun but …very limited in what u can do… will give this a try but lair holds a place in my heart

There isn't a story mode, but the bestiary has a bunch of lore for all the different dragons and classes that you might find interesting :)

@@pmookie I play on 800 dpi with 4 in game sens on the tethered input setting. Will have an advanced movement guide out in ~24 hours that should hopefully help with that!

Was so hyped for this yet with cross play not able to be disabled all the pc players ruin if for console every game I've been in PC players always end up over quadruple the score of console players and it feels really lame in what's a great game
I don't think this is a crossplay issue as much as it is a general matchmaking issue. This is one of the few games where I think controllers and mouse+keyboard are on a really even playing field. The issue lies in an awful matchmaking system that consistently fails to create fair matches, partially due to a smaller player base. Sorry that it's ruining your experience a little there

@@DustyNG you know what's funny is that every one I watch or meet thinks the Marauder dragon blows 3 frost snot bolts but it's actually the rider throwing them. These are all fire dragons. Oh and the lock on method is the rider using magic. Or the dragon might be telepathically.. 🤔 magic hmm
@@vullrath There is no real animation for the frost bolts, they just appear.. maybe the dragon is magical, or maybe the rider! Who knows! My money is on the dragon though
@@DustyNG yeah but to bind a mighty dragon to ones will... They have to be powerful mages! This game needs a lore book/single player campaign telling a vast and elaborate awesome story.. much potential in this game indeed....

I don't even know I'd I should continue playing this damn game because it seems everytime I get 2 to 3 people even a whole fuckin team aiming for me and dying instantly while they tank so much of my damage as a matter of fact the dodging system sucks ass in my opinion but go ahead call me a tyrant if you want it's not fun if u constantly get killed and blamed for matches
So basically play the tutorial and actually pay attention to what the hell it teaches us? Outside of learning the maps the tutorial literally tells us all the info that you did
It is a beginners guide after all. Condensing the slow paced tutorials and explaining things in another way is actually beneficial for a lot of people. If you want more advanced information, that's what the advanced guides on my channel are for...
