Great teaching. We just had a discussion about this verse a few Sabbaths ago in out Torah group. Thank you for clarifying this.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
And they say "English is the most difficult language to learn"!!! :D Thank you for this!
The Septuagint translated this verse as he hoped to call upon the name of the LORD
I've been wondering about these opposing translations for a long time. Thank you for explaining where the ambiguity comes from.
Do you have a video on the first word in Genesis? On whether it means “in the beginning” or “when?”
my whole family loves his teaching's because a lot of teachers just say things but don't really help you understand the words♥
Shalom, I appreciate the video; thank you!
HalleluYah!!!
Great lesson 👍👍tyvm
Thank you so much for these lessons. I must now start from the beginning of your Hebrew lesson.
I have heard that every word in Hebrew has a potential positive meaning as well as a potential negative meaning. Depending on the heart of the reader, it can mean 2 different things. Hence, "as a man thinks, so is he". Curious to know if anyone else has this understanding ❤. Love you all, always praying ❤. Thank you brother for every video ❤
I have that innerstanding of ancient Hebrew language. There's a positive meaning and a negative meaning.
Thank you
Very interesting thank you. Is this the same Halal as in Halal food in Islam ?
Wow. Thank you. This might be the day I quit trying to learn Hebrew. 😂
I empathise
It’s easy if you go by the Hebrew language of the Bible. Psalm 119 is the true ancient Hebrew.
Sounds a lot like Halal is an Arabic word that means 'permissible' in Islam and contrasts with haram ('forbidden'). It applies to various aspects of life, such as food, finance, clothing, and behavior. Learn about the Quranic and hadith sources, the halal certification process, and the global halal economy. 16:31
So encouraging, caused to a hope in the calling if the name of YHWH / Yeshua haMashiach hoo Adonai's strength in our Weakness 💜 Agape 🕊️🔥 Rauch haKodesh
I have a question ⁉️. Isaiah 7:14 " and shall call"
In the Salkinson Ginsburg I believe the same Hebrew word is used in Matthew 1: 23
What does " and they shall call " look like
What does " and shall call" look like. What are the Hebrew letters?
Isn't ʼenosh "mortal man" and refers to the vulnerability and frailty of mortals, and their need for the Almighty to act in their lives?
Nope. That was completely made up by some UA-camrs looking for views.
Thank you for your teaching. I am trying to learn some Hebrew and I always thought of halal to mean praise, praised, boast, Strong’s 1984. Is it enunciated different in conversation or is there no difference and one must rely on context?
Toda raba in advance.
@@bprayin8522 Strong’s is not enough. Please use BDB (Brown Driver Briggs) Lexicon, which is accessible freely from BlueLetterBible as well as other resources.
@ thank you so much, :-) is it enunciated different depending on the context?
@@bprayin8522 we begin with the root, then verb inflection (conjugation, stem, person, gender, number), then context.
@@TheHebrewBiblewow! Thank you so much for you sharing your gift of knowledge ❤️ Praised be to TMH El, and may He bless you🙏🏼
Perhaps both?
As it was an initiation, a sounding out of the actual name YHVH (Jehovah) audibly poetic.
Seth means placing or setting in the stead of another. Abel means breath or breathing. Seth was set in the stead of Abels breath (breathe = life). Yahuah breathed (naw fakh = breathe, blow) into man who is Enosh (Enosh means mortal, man) the breathe (breathe = neshawmaw = breathe of life) of life. Given Genesis 4:25 and Abel was righteous and Seth is set in the place of righteous Abel, how can we interpret began (khawlal) to be piercing, defiling, profaning in this context. Adams wife naming Seth a replacement would seem to be " I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord" Psalm 116:17
these concepts are one in the same depending on the perspective of the issuer
What if this was the beginning of light vs darkness those who called on yhvh in hope and those who began to curse the curse of man .blaming G-D instead of man himself
A man cursed God in Leviticus 24:10-12. The man was the son of an Israelite woman and an Egyptian father. He cursed God in a camp, using the Lord's name in a bad way. The people brought him to Moses, and held him prisoner while they waited for the Lord's command.
Enosh can also mean Mortal or Human, not just Man.
Maybe both meanings are valide, as they both go hand in hand to be in a bad spiritual place brings oppression, that leads us Back to seeking Hashem.
