Allrounder: This is forced upon you at the beginning of the game, but it's really a class you shouldn't touch past rank 1 since they don't really give you an advantage in any role.
Striker & Shooter: These classes excel in damage, and both are extremely useful when it comes to boss hunting and hunting Jackals in the late game. Funnily enough, there are Dex weapons in the game, meaning that the Shooter does have close range ability, the striker just has a much wider selection. Shooters do tend to have lower VIT as well, meaning that a Striker can typically take a little more punishment.
Collector: Yeah, they're pretty much only useful for their bag since otherwise they're a weak Allrounder. Keep in mind that if you have an express pass, you pretty much render this class useless since there's absolutely no need for that many item slots.
Skill Master: While it may become relevant once you hit end game, chances are that you don't have the number of decals needed for this to become a worthwhile option since it is once again a "worse" Allrounder.
Attacker: The lack of defense on this character makes them a waste of space, especially since there isn't a weapon that benefits from both strength and dexterity. Even when defending, there's almost no point to giving your AI a melee weapon along with their ranged weapon since they will prefer the ranged weapon 90% of the time.
Defender: This character is amazing in terms of being able to take solid hits without crumpling while still dealing damage that is above the level of an allrounder. While they probably won't end up killing raiders, they will definitely keep them on their toes as an AI on defense, and usually lead to them losing more time than any other unit. Their only real weakness is a low Luck and Stamina, both of which can fortunately be shored up by decals very easily.
Lucky Star: This class is deceptively strong. It definitely suffers from similar problems as the Attacker class with one major difference, insane critical ratios and high poison damage/application rate. If you gear this class well and get yourself some upgraded claws, you can essentially mow through enemies faster than a Striker. The high application rate of poison also makes them great raiders since when you poison a defending AI, they will constantly try to back up and vomit, leaving them wide open to combos.

It works in reverse as well. If you play as a collector, you pretty much don't need a premium pass.

Don't forget the Lucky Star having higher max luck on uncap makes it very good for expeditions as expedition loot is affected by luck.

I play almost exclusively as a collector. I was able to build my BPs very quickly which makes up for the weak STR and supplement with barbell decals. A couple bosses gave me trouble so I used a free 1 day pass and put them to bed with a striker that has a collectors size bag
Anybody else got that tip from Meijin that says something about a hunger system and that you should eat something when you hear your characters stomach rumbling otherwise your stamina will decrease.I was wondering is that really a mechanic?
I'm sure you have probably figured it out by now but for others who are starting and watching this and going through the comments trying to figure it out yes this is a mechanic and it can drastically mess you up my suggestion if you have this problem go to the first floor capture the frogs and eat them

The vampire decal for me is very useful for the skill master cuz if you combine it with other decals that increase damage his lifesteal is just so op

Whats the best way to deal w defending your base? I haven't started that yet, I left the "balloon" untouched so that whole pvp thing wouldn't start (a friend warned me). Not really into this part (similar to Metal Gear PP base building game) So was just wondering whats best so I don't get robbed blind! Great vids, thanks for posting!

i thought the collector was just an all rounder with slightly lowered skills and higher capacity? at least the grade 2 is for sure. I'm asking because so far the collector is my favorite due to its ability to let me hoard materials, blueprints, weapons, and food while still being able to cover myself in a fight.
Wow. I JUST got the “Lucky Star” reference. Giving myself a pass because I just started playing a month ago and unlocked the other fighters a couple weeks ago, but still. Sad!

BouseFeenux I'm starting to wonder if I just suck at this game the haters ruining everything for me I can get thru the lvls fine until I run into a hater and just get instant killed
They're a bit ridiculous. I still have issues with them when I'm speed leveling a new character. They're always on the second floor and I don't see them below level 50 now. Pain in the ass.

0:40 Class 1 Human: Rounded Stats
1:18 Class 2 Berserker: High HP320 & Top STR35
1:36 Class 3 Tank: Best HP380 & VIT20 + Hidden Best STM252
1:48 Class 4 Sholdier: Top STR35 & Dex35
2:18 Class 5 Ranger: Lowest HP220 & Dex30 *you would think they would have the best dexterity since they're main thing is shooting as a Shooter and not a hybrid like the Attacker but nope! Completely useless class that needs to have it's stats fix to highest DEX of 35 and the Sholdier brought down to 30 and have a strong VIT like most Rangers*

*Tip: Should only be used when you have the best decals available in your collection*
3:22 Class 8 God's Chosen: *Same luck as everyone else except Collector. Don't know where this " Insane amount of luck " is when everyone but collector has LUK11. It's an Inaccurate, Yet To Be Updated stat that doesn't represent its ability to find better equipment and more Kill Coins. It's luck should be 33 for the amount of good loot you find*
Side note: once you're rich and have completed everything then you'll have no need for a Human,Ranger, Scavenger or God's Chosen so to maximize your strength your just double up on Berserker, Tank, Soldier & PAU to Maximize your destructive force!
3:30 The actual difference in KC gain in dependence to Luck is pretty much negligible from what I've heard.
I like collect class , so I can collect mushrooms to survive and materials to become stronger weapons/outfits
I'm just a new starter on this game I don't know everything but I would like to get my character up to a highest level and it better at defense and picking up materials and so on

I wonder if luck also affects item drop rates. I don't know what bosses you cleared yet but a boss guide would be an amazing addition to your content. you could also go over the various types of found consumables and how to best use them etc. Just some thoughts for additional videos.
The luck thing was my original thought as well but I haven't tested it and we don't have enough info right now to know for sure.
ah ok. well thank you for the vid! I haven't even touched a different build from the starter one yet so this will definitely help. I got the crossbow so hopefully it'll work for a long range build.
Yep, crossbow is a dex weapon so go shooter or attacker class for maximum effect!

I use collector mainly and striker for harder fights

i just start the game and the first thing i found was the reward chest: its still full of cash so much i cant even loot it all right now and i also got 35 death metal.....anyone else get this?
The video made the game look really easy, but I assume your character have some really nice gear, so you can just 1 shot eveything
Nah, not really anything you can't get without leveling a few things. Its mostly the stats on a character that really make a weapon shine. A character with a str. build is going to do way more damage with a melee weapon than a firearm.

So how can i unlock more decal slots?
Do those masks come with the character? If so I can picture almost every person who has no idea about the game choose the one with the best looking mask without even knowing the stats.
Right. And yea. the mask in the picture is pretty much the one you get from what I've seen anyway. But I can totally see that happening.
first time when i sold/dispozed of an character she got sawed in half i was like "..ouch"
fun fact: i was so scared of using weapons that i used only my fist for the first 10 floors

I could put something together for that. Simply though, just farm the chests in each area. Upgrade your blueprints

They have a far more potent reason: The tower is filled with fungal spores that might as well eat you alive from the inside out.
I prefer to use lucky star for guns.

Robot Spy739 themselves. Consider it more sustain based tank but could require hit counter for heals or an AoE to sustain. Low damage but high sustain.

That defeats the purpose. The goal of the game is to build up ur character. Healing ur self even if u do low damage just feels like a cheap move

Striker for sure. Floor 13+ is insanely difficult already and the extra hp makes it way easier.
Let it die could actually work as a an arcade game.
TravelerWhereof I'd say that it basically is one. especially with it wanting your death medal to continue like tokens.
The game itself, takes up a lot of space on my ps4. I got tired of the constant dead ends that I ended up deleting it. But the online mode did serve an entertaining purpose. But the entire game felt more like an experiment for a future game. The lack of Online Interaction with Friends, Complete Lack of Lore, and strange and pop-culture like stereotypical characters also played a part of losing my interest. It just being a "game" had no real value. I wanted to feel rewarded at the end and I didn't get that.
I wish there was more to it then just fighting for the heck of it. Like you can team up with another player and share fighters for the base something you know to the expectation of more.
