How Big Is A 20 X 4.5 E-bike Tire?

How big is a 20 x 4.5 fat ebike tire? In this video, I show you a standard 20 x 4.0 e-bike tire and you can compare it to a bigger 20 x 4.5 fat bike tire. I measure the length Width and height of the electric bike tires so you can see how much bigger a 20 x 4.5 tire is the 20 x 4.0. This way you can decide if you want to put a fatter tire on the back of your bike, and you can also measure it to see if it will fit. The Kenda Elite 20 x 4.5 tire looks significantly bigger than the CST BFT 20 x 4.0 fat e-bike tire, but it does fit on an E bike that was built for a 20 x 4.0 tire. If you’re thinking about putting a fatter tire on the back of your E bike, and you want to put a bigger 20 x 4.5 tire on it, this video shows you exactly how much bigger the 20 X 4.5 Tire is than a 20 x 2.0 bicycle tire.

One thing for sure, you can hear a fat tire e-bike from a distance when riding. My e-bike has 20 x 2.5 and I think it's pretty good. 😎

Yes. There really is no reason for tires fatter than yours, other than that they look cool. Smaller tires give you enough traction, and you can go further on a charge because there’s less resistance and rotational mass.

Yeah I like the sound the fat tyre makes ..other people n riders can hear you which is good ..but I do like the 4.5 tyres doe they look good

Probably. You might have problems with the chain hitting the tire when you’re in the lowest gear in the back. The front should be OK.

I've been looking to pick these 4.5 tires... where can i get them? Not all the bike stores carry them... smh

I don’t know. I’ve never seen them anywhere except on this bike from the factory. I looked around and couldn’t find them either.
