For one of THE best examples of punching the trigger or button, the exact opposite of a surprise break taught by every major known archer on the planet and THE single most important principle in a repeatable and quality shot taught by Joel Turner and Shot IQ...go to 21:37 and watch what NOT to do...no matter the outcome. Best way to solidify target panic into your shot is to do that. Then go watch again at 23:53 and see what TO DO.
See the difference in trigger control.. Douglas could have stopped the firing process at any time during it...while James literally just punched it as quickly as possible...THAT is the difference between winning and losing.

Leupold RX Full Draw 5, Vortex Daimondback HD ( which I use), Sig Sauer KILO 1600 BDX and Bushnell Broadhead. Pretty much anything else is garbage as it is inaccurate.
One KEY tip; use YOUR rangefinder, always, no matter what you get. If you use yours, then use a shops or one at the range someone else has, you may not have accurate ranges as there are differences from manufacture to manufacture by a yard or so, but those numbers are consistent to themselves, always, in the above.

Steven might not think that he hit that 12 he might have thought that he missed it
