What is a Kernel - Basic Computing Concepts
In this video I explain what a Kernel is in Operating Systems, and what are the differences between the main types, such as Monolithic Kernel, Microkernel, Hybrid Kernel, Exokernel and Nanokernel.
I also briefly explain some concepts such as system calls, processes, threads, user space and protected mode.
