@@shielaricarte308 she is only flexible which is a good foundation and basic skills to dance Chinese and folk dance but when she dances in different genre such as street dance and choreography, she danced too hard but what makes her dance better is her expression management since most KPOP idols trained that way.
Chengxiao is an amazing dancer especially considering her background in Chinese traditional dance and a career in idol group dancing however from a completely objective perspective her past experiences didn’t adequately prepare her for this level of dance proficiency. In this dance battle u can see the mark of a certain industry’s rigid effects on a performer versus the specialized, self curated, and (in no offense at all) truly mastered dance skills+creativity. But nonetheless it’s incredible that she put up such a great performance, it seems like she’s finally able to express and explore her limits outside of a Kpop girl group setting.
