I've been hooked on Paul Rodgers since 1978 I got to see bad company in concert at either the LSU Assembly center or the baton rouge Assembly center?? I was I was either 13 or 14 years old had front row seats, I guess that was one good thing about my first boyfriend! He took me to see bad company! In my opinion I don't think Paul gets enough credit for his guitar playing piano playing harmonica playing etcetera Paul Rodgers is my all-time favorite musician! It's 2024🎉😊❤❤❤
Great DVD... I immediately bought this the minute it came out.... What an awesome show... & you couldn't ask for a better singer PAUL RODGERS.... he is without any doubt one of the greatest singers in rock history....
Paul brings the house down again with those killer pipes! Man he can sing. Damn what more does a man have to do, or blow, to get into the Rock and Roll HOF?
I believe this is one of the best classic rock concerts and performance, with great and excellent musicians and singer in the rock history, and with Mr. Rodgers, which is the most beautiful rock voice, ever.
info from montreux database: Paul Rodgers and Friends, 06 July 1994, Auditorium Stravinski Paul Rodgers (voc, g), Neal Schon (g), Jason Bonham (dr), Ian Hatton (g), John Smithson (b), Steve Lukater (g), Brian May (g), Sherman Robertson (g) also: Eddie Kirkland, Sherman Robertson, Luther Allison, Robert Lucas and Kenny Neal
So cool to see Neal Schon in 1994 with Paul Rodgers. I wish that their Hendrix set was available to download. It is really special. Paul Rodgers is such a talent; from Free, to Bad Company, and these other projects. Still doing it, like so many of the original rockers, keeping the real music 🎶 alive and well !
Me too❤love Paul's voice still as great as ever, and Steve in humble pie was truly amazing as well of course the small faces RIP Steve we are all still listening❤
Thank you for posting! Paul is one of the greatest rock n roll voices of all time. Not to mention three of the greatest guitarists of all time along for the ride too. Neal Schon, Brian May, and Steve Lukather incredible. Oh yeah and Jason Bonham on drums. So cool! Paul Rodgers album at this time was Muddy Water Blues. Neat to see live versions of those songs too.
Unfortunately i could not see Paul Rodgers show until now, but i dream with it every day. But i have my cds and DVDs, specially my Nescafe Blues Show, in Brazil (1995), with the great Geoff Whitehorn (electric guitar).
I wonder how Neil Schon felt sharing the stage with a vocalist that was easily Steve Perry's equal !!.....and rocking harder than Journey ever did ....No doubt he loved it !!....Epic show !!
Schon played with Santana before the sappy Journey, so he's used to playing around with other talent. Neil has guest played with Rodgers many times and Paul is way above many if not most lead singers.
Paul Rodgers is a legend, but he will NEVER be Steve Perry's equal. He just doesn't have the same mistique. Steve Perry can do 'All Right Now", but picture "Send Her My Love" with Paul Rodgers...not even close. Also, if you are a musician, you will notice that Journey had more variety , complex arrangements and a larger musical tapestry than the formulaic Bad Company. I hope you are not saying that Rodgers plays keyboards better than Rolie or Cain...Schon has rocked harder than this in Hardline: Dr. Love anybody?
No no no, Neal is an absolute beast, don't forget he played with Santana wen he was jus 16. Steve is very accomplished, I luv him. I have followed his music more than Neal.
I'm watching this at home right now, These guys are all slaying it, What the h*** is wrong with the audience, I would be swinging off a chandelier while listening to this. Brian May , Jason Bonham, Wow
In 1977 .. I was chueffering for Led Zeppelin Swansong's label executives to go to Ft. Worth's Convention Arena for the Bad Company concert. I noticed that Paul was trying to sing the songs being drunk. The one executive i was standing by agreed. I found out that he was heavily drinking at that time. He was great this time.😊 😊
Paul Rodgers Yes, you are Fuckin' Bad Ass, as always. I used to think you were the best rock singer ever, but I was wrong. You are the best male singer ever. Your depth is amazing. I love your interpretive skills. You amaze me with your covers. For instance "Stone", written by Chris Rea. I can't imagine how you came up with such a brilliant version? I don't know where you pulled that from, but it is amazing. Versatility is your middle name, from the hard edge to the soft sensitive, you kill it all. Keep being a Fuckin' Bad Ass.
Paul Rodgers I read a bio on George Francis, in which there was a chapter or 2 on you walking into his gym and sparring for a good while with Boza Edwards. Do you still keep your hand in? Lol
Paul Rodgers Good for you. The way you sling the mic stand up and catch it on the way down shows you still got good hand / eye co ordination, well too good for me anyway, even though I'm only about a week older, but I'd take you on the pads if you can still remember the numbers. LMAO.
Alcoholism took my AUNT a few years back. She loved Paul Rogers, I'm sure she's in some Bad Co. RIGHT NOW up there. Also the fact these badasses aren't in the hall proves it's bullsheit!
Love this ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,BUT !!!!!!! In my opinion ……… It was spoilt by Neil`s fast pentatonics which didn't fit the classic FREE numbers which don't need this kind of treatment.Just my opinion you understand.
@@dopeykat6653 Agreed. I have been a FREE fan from Day # 1 thru to mid-term BAD COMPANY; but this whole up-tempo thing is just WAY too rushed and destroys what we all know what it SHOULD be ! I am not a Sound-Techie by any measure; but this mix .... grates ! Paul Rogers : THE voice of Rock ! !
May God keep on blessing Paul Rodgers, so you can keep on blessing us through his music! ❤❤❤
❤Paul Rogers Rocks The House ❤
2023 always listening to his music ❤

He absolutely the greatest vocalist ever to me.
Kids, watch listen and learn. This IS how it's done!
you are right, bad times for good music now, only the money counts
The best!
Paul brings the house down again with those killer pipes! Man he can sing. Damn what more does a man have to do, or blow, to get into the Rock and Roll HOF?
It's the Hall's loss. Just enjoy 😉.
Seriously!!
I believe this is one of the best classic rock concerts and performance, with great and excellent musicians and singer in the rock history, and with Mr. Rodgers, which is the most beautiful rock voice, ever.
And some good songs.
this is dream music !!!
THE voice of rock.
Fn ridiculously fabulous!! Whoa!!
Roger's is just messing around, jamming. Having fun. Giving his talent. Love it.
Amazing concert group. Simply unreal. Wish I was there...
Great video of the greatest blues singer in the world. And the best guitarists with Jason Bonham on drums! Love Paul Rodgers!
Wouw .. Brilliant ..👏🎶❤️
Nobody like him. One of a kind. And he still has it!

Paul Rodgers and Steve Marriot...best ever for me.

By the way Steve's daughter Mollie is doing a Xmas tour this year with Rick Wakeman and his son ,in the UK. Got my ticket can't wait to hear her sing❤
What a great singer!
Best version of Muddy Water Blues I've heard, so deep...

James Dewar from Robin Trower band is in the same class with Rodgers. Dewar is underrated.

wonderful !!!
Epic is the word. Lucky Lucky that audience back in 1994 !!
muy buena sesión....
My all time favourites are SRV and this young man. And there's no one on this world that can change my mind!
This never gets old.
Great video. Sound man was asleep on who was soloing at times.
Onya Brian May! ROCK ON!!!!!!
Paul and Ian Gillan are my two favorites of all time.😊
Couldn't help but notice that Neal Schon got totally blown away by Steve Lukather.
No no no, Neal is an absolute beast, don't forget he played with Santana wen he was jus 16. Steve is very accomplished, I luv him. I have followed his music more than Neal.
Also listen to Neal's version of Hendricks Little Wing with Paul on vocals, my opinion is dat Neal sounds much beta than Steve.

Gotta give lots of love to Steve Lukather! He sure makes that guitar wait!

Corking version of Travellin' Man to kick it all off
No disrespect to this fine band of musicians, but 'Mr. Big' showed how much I miss Koss, and Frasier.
I like it when Luther takes over, he buries completely Paul Rodgers.
Hate the change of melody he makes he can be so Awesome!
Fuckin' Bad ass, - If I'm allowed to say so, myself. ( - Though, I suppose I might be a lil' biased.)

Yeah, Schon plays way too fast. Koss would have blown him off the stage.
Yes, Schon should slow it down to be more like a lazy, bluesy low-gained tone, slow-paced bendings, and put more bass & less treble on the tone.
