Thank you!! 08 Honda Odyssey EX. used *gum out* on the EGR valve and wire brush several times. Let it all dry. Put it all back in. Cleared the P0404 code via Bluetooth obd2 and now it's back to idling smoothly. No check engine light. She was DIRTY. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the video I had this issue going on for a while. Paid a mechanic to fix and he kept ignoring the code, swapping plugs and coils. Car would be good for one day and lights and symptoms would come back… Finally I decided to research, found your video and thought it was the closest to my case. 2015 Oddyssey At last, Car was even overheating a bit after so long not taking care of problem. Besides the whole trembling, shaking and performance symptoms. Honestly I was going to replace but ended up cleaning Moved plunger, sprayed cleaner Problem seems fixed so far… Thanks!
Great video man , i been to 2 mechanics in queens ny they don’t want to do this , I called another one he said no either idk why !!! Anyway I done it myself with your video and seems great , God bless you brother
My van is a 2008 thank you soo much I literally tried everything the car was reading low purge code p0145c and I changed the purge valve solenoid - nothing still stalling out , I changed the air intake hose because I discovered a huge crack and thought that might be it - nothing , I said let me just check the egr valve because I got nothing to lose the car was misfiring badly , took off the egr and looked there was a rock stuck holing it open and I took out the rock or hard rubber watever it was and now the van is fine , hope this helps Someone in the future god bless thanks 😊 ❤️
Thanks for the video! Do I need to clear the engine code to get the engine light to go off after doing this or will it go away on its own? I have a 2012 Oddyssey

It began again after some time which give me a reason to actually replace it
I’m shopping to find a good deal and purchase a new one.
Did the problem ever return after putting the new one??

Nice job!!! I had same issue on 05 accord it woulda start up well and ran 15 mph and struggled
Reading this with the same exact code and I’m about ti clean the valve and replace the purge valve afterwards
if you spray your connectors with electrical cleaner they will pop off much easier.
Sure thank you for the tip
