- Swansea (Welsh: Abertawe) is a city and county on the south coast of Wales. It lies along the Bristol Channel at the mouth of the River Tawe. Swansea is the second largest city in Wales (after Cardiff). The National Waterfront Museum, in a renovated warehouse with a slate-and-glass extension, features coal-industry artefacts. Swansea Museum’s collection includes maritime paintings, plus boats in Swansea Marina. The Dylan Thomas Centre commemorates the 20th-century writer with hands-on displays. Swansea Market offers local produce, crafts and other goods. A visit to Swansea is a must: take in the sweeping waterfront of Swansea Bay leading to Mumbles and onto the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Not complete without trying one of the famous Welsh-Italian ice cream parlours.

@@UK-Places I sometimes watch the drone videos from Swansea and they often show the same shot 5 times and they shoot way too fast or are jerky or shaky. Yours I think is great, only the weather was a bit hazy that day. But you would have to live there to take advantage of the perfect day for the shots.

just came into my feed, a year late lol. Swansea boy here, now living in Brunei after leaving the UK in 2010. I have to ask....What have they done to my town?! I barely recognized it. It has changed since my last visit in 2017. Why is County Hall looking derelict? What happened to Alexandra House?
WTF is that wibbly-wobbly tunnel building crossing the mumbles road??
Did they demolish the old, VERY OLD, bus garage at Clarence Terrace: I thought that was a listed industrial building? Why does the BT Tower...now look exactly as it did in 1975?!
