Considering what you guys had to work with, you did a very nice job. Still would've liked t've seen you guys have someone touch up the dragon animations a bit, but otherwise not half bad. :)
time - money - quality... hopefully the jokes make up for it... But we'll see if we can make another Dragon video with a bit more realistic animation in the future!
Don't fret too much about it! You guys are a bunch of friends putting out goofy youtube content, not a multi million dollar effects house like ILM or Pixar. you do what you can with what you got. The dragon's animations being premade explains the lack of polish. All that aside, I think you guys achieved what you set out to make. A comical take on a 'reality' spin for Danny and her dragons. Keep up the great work. :)
A bit of advice on compositing in the future. Definitely work with your shots in greyscale, and don't forget to tab through the color channels. It can be very useful for seeing when you've got too much of one channel coming through, or when something is overexposed when compared to the rest of the shots. I had to do a lot of day for night stuff while working at a local place doing precomp, so i got to stare a lot at histograms and color graphs.
I have an idea for a new vid, what would a showdown between Commander Shepard from "Mass Effect",a nd Master Chief from "Halo" look like?
