So funny Kay, I’ve just got back from Morrison’s and bought very similar groceries to you including red meat as I’m on my period.
We have the very same Mr and Mrs mugs also which are so lovely. I’m liking the new cardigan you’re wearing, can see a trip to Tesco coming soon haha.
Forgot to add we have the Lakeland heated dryer and hood and find it to be so useful. Not everything goes in the tumble dryer which is hard on rainy summer days when I can’t line dry.
Ooh that’s interesting! I’m glad you like the heated dryer I’m looking forward to it arriving! Hoping for it to be a game changer for us this year as we dried on the radiators in the past but it makes the house damp. Aww love that you have the mugs too, excited to use them! x

Wow... loving your cottage...I could move in there now....all these other vlogs ...houses...more like mansions...they have far too much stuff...the cat are lovely and cute.. x I actually did my underwear drawers a few weeks ago... what a difference...so much easier..and I don't even miss the odd socks anymore...I used them for dusting around the bedroom and then they went in the bin....👍🙂

It is definitely a little cooler lately. I had to buy slippers this morning because of chilly feet. Cozy things are needed. I am trying to reset my eating also. Starting tomorrow. Hi Kaye, why do you buy flowers when you have such lovely blooms in your garden?
I try to buy non toxic flowers for the house as I worry about the cats, we also don’t have many flowers suitable for brining in outside but I did last year when I grew sunflowers 🥰♥️
Sarah Raven is the queen of growing plants for cut flowers. She’s taught me so much, I didn’t have a clue at the start beyond your typical summer garden flowers.
I never have to buy supermarket flowers again, mostly flown a million miles from somewhere like Kenya.

This was a lovely relaxing vlog. Noticed some similarities: I have the lakeland heated airer - it is so good and I use it all the time in winter, I'm due to come on period tomorrow so also feeling that low energy feeling, my new fave drink to have as a treat is an iced caramel coffee and i like to buy myself flowers each week too. I think I might make nice stew tomorrow or soon. I'm so glad I found your vlogs. I have followed a lot of buddhism videos prior to finding you and I think the slow living concept is kind of a modern take on that but this is what i have been missing from my life. I want to bring more peace and slow intentional living into my life. I think I was meant to find your vlogs. Thank you for sharing. 🥰🙂 ❤ xx

I can't do anything in my kitchen if its chaos. My husband seems to act like he can't rinse off his plate and cup, to place in our dishwasher, so I voice my very strong opinion on his laziness. I understand feeling out of sorts when the house is in disarray. I am tidy, but deep cleaning doesn't happen as often as it should or I would like. Your home and decor is lovely.
I had those mugs for our wedding 😍 we still drink out of them all the time 🥰 a little mug of happiness!

You can buy cheaply online or at the supermarket a slow cooker liner, you use once, but they are a game changer, no longer do you need to soak the slow cooker pot… can’t recommend them enough….
Great video. Always find them really calming. If you have any good quality bras to get rid of, you can give to charity's who collect them to send to Africa 😊
Don’t forget to get your vitamin levels checked, being low in D3, B12, iron, etc can make you very tired on top of normal life stuff.

Hi Kay, a really nice vlog, really enjoyed it, your wedding bag is lovely, l have just brought some new pants from M&S and they have some with lace but it tells you it is a really nice soft lace, you have a lovely home, l am with you on the excitement of a Emma Bridgewater mug especially Mr & Mrs ones love their mugs but as you say they are quite expensive so l have to limit myself, take care xx

Thank you so much for showing the raspberry protein powder that you use, unfortunately I looked on Amazon and couldn’t find it (probably because I live in the United States) but I’m going to use Keylime pie yogurt, fresh raspberries, vanilla protein powder and almond milk which will do nicely since I just got done with a one hour walk on the treadmill. I absolutely loved the fact that this was a very long video to be honest, it really made my day so I really appreciate you posting this. I’m on a health journey myself and I used to have very long and difficult periods but when I had them (before my complete hysterectomy) I would crave meat (not like me) but yes, red meat was on my mind. It turned out that I was severely anemic. Also, I’m the same way about lace…I can’t stand the feeling of scratchy lace. Anyhow, I’m jealous of your weather…it’s still 85 here and I’m such a fall weather/comfy fluffy socks gal too. Loved the floral robe 😆. Also, the official wedding countdown is on…how exciting!!!

I have literally been decluttering and organising for the last week and how good does it feel when it’s done. I also did my sock and underwear drawer too, feels great to open a drawer and be able to find something straight away.
Feels so good doesn’t it!! Made me want to do the rest of my house though 🫣😂

I like your vlogs but find the way you keep your cats on leads uncomfortable. It’s literally a cat’s instinct to jump and scratch outside, yet you stopped him from doing this. I can’t vibe with your ethos as being wholesome and natural whilst treating animals this way. You should allow a cat to be free! You treat them as if they are dogs. They are not.
Correct, they are cats. They are Ragdoll cats which are an indoor cat breed. They aren’t like any other cat I’ve experienced. They don’t have an undercoat which means they get cold easily and they also have no road sense. They are beautiful cats who also have a lot of trust in humans which puts them at a greater risk of being ran over (we live on a busy road) or stolen. It would be really irresponsible to let them roam freely. I also signed a contract with both of them stating they would be indoor or supervised outside only. (catio or harness)
They have the entire garden to explore and have no issue being on their leads, they love going outside. Rory activity purrs and gets excited when I put his harness on and they both come inside when they’ve had enough (usually about 10 mins). I understand your concern but no harm is coming to them, they get so much more stimulation than house cats and if the only part of the garden Rory isn’t allowed is the pallets that are leaning on the fence then I don’t think he’s got it too bad! He’s always testing boundaries and he meows when he knows he’s doing something he shouldn’t like he did in this video, little tinker. 😂 he can only get to that area when I’m there thus why he was trying his luck. It’s ok to not understand someone’s reasoning but my cats are treated like absolute kings and they know they are. They are my life. ♥️
