Young Murdered Mom’s Evil Love Rival WALKS FREE

- Thanksgiving, 2018, #KelseyBerreth talks with her mother that morning and is then seen on video at a local grocery with her toddler, Kaylee. Two days later, Berreth’s fiancé and Kaylee’s father, #PatrickFrazee, her mother, and her boss all receive a text message saying she’s taking a few days off. After not hearing from her daughter in over a week, Cheryl Berreth asks police to check on her daughter. They find Kelsey Berreth is missing.
A month into the investigation, another young woman comes forward with evidence. Krystal Lee Kenney says she was in a relationship with Patrick Frazee, despite his engagement to Berreth, and Frazee had asked her three times to kill Berreth. When Kenney refused, he did it himself. Frazee blindfolded Berreth on the pretense of a game of guess the scent. He then attacked her with a baseball bat, afterwards calling Kenney for help cleaning the crime scene. Kenney drives from her home in Idaho to Colorado to clean up the bloody scene, then accompanies Frazee to his nearby ranch, where she says she held Kaylee while Frazee burned Berreth’s remains and her personal belongings.
Frazee is convicted on all charges including first-degree murder, solicitation for murder and tampering with a deceased human body. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder charge, plus 156 years for the other convictions. Krystal Lee Kenney accepted a plea deal in exchange for her testimony against Frazee. She was sentenced to three years in prison. After Frazee's conviction Kenney was re-sentenced to 18 months in prison for evidence tampering. She has now been released.

Not about child support - Patrick will garner sooo much attention from unwitting women as a single father to Kaylee; this ultra narcissistic psychopath killed so he can continue to dupe his future victims, but this time getting their pity due to his being a single father. Truly the evil know no lows.
Frazee had motive to kill Kelsey in that he wanted full custody of (Kaylee Berreth) and/or Kelsey to leave (the child) with him and Kelsey would not agree. Frazee allegedly also told Cheryl that despite the relationship starting off well, it eventually turned sour. ABC News
He burned her remains. So disgusting. He probably thought he was so smart. People are convicted without a body.
That's what I've never understood, the truth will come out and now mr genius has ruined his daughter's life and his own by thinking he was smarter than anyone else and taking that innocent Mother away

My husband passed away a year and almost 9 month's ago from covid and 11 month's before him we lost my sister to a car accident while having a seizure, Idk what I would do without my parent's, I moved back in with them after my husband passed away, my sister and I were raised in this house too 💔

She called her mom for a cinnamon roll recipe to make for her daughter. She thought she was going to PF’s house for Thanksgiving. It’s all just sickening and heartbreaking and tragic as it was 5 years ago. Thank you Nancy for remembering Kelsey and bringing attention that KK is now unfairly free.

Same here! When my mom died in 2012, I took her handwritten recipes but it’s the little everyday recipes that I want to call her for help! I took it for granted when she here and now it’s kind of sad that my grandkids will never have her maple pancakes that I can’t get right😢

I know someone that knows the nurse personally, her license wasn't revoked, from what I was told from first hand accounts not saying this was ok, but she was scared for her life, again not agreeing with it but that's the just of it. My friend said there is so much to the story we don't even realize, and this isn't just an acquaintance this is a very close friend. The whole thing is awful and I can't even imagine all the lives that are changed because of this 😔

They had no idea what happened to Kelsey until Krystal told them. All they had was a spot of blood her brother found in her home. That’s when they realized she didn’t just disappear. They did sell their soul to the devil to get him. It isn’t fair.
Whenever I drive through Woodland Park, I just look at that Safeway store and think of her. Beyond horrible that her life was taken.
I remember this case and it was so sad. And then the girlfriend cleaning up a murder...wow. Well now they can write love letters to each other while they rot in jail. I haven't heard of this case until I just came across it, if not she got acsserory after the fact, I hate this for her daughter and the rest of her family, unfortunately I've been married 3 times but my 3rd husband passed away from covid so what I've never understood is like this case...ok so it didn't work out to get married, evidently he was cheating so just go on with your life and deal with the custody that you're given

This was such a sad case. I’m just so glad her mother could take the baby. It’s so much better for the little girl not to go into foster care. And she’s with someone who adores her. She looks so much like her mom. I ask my mom about recipes each year. It’s just as much a tradition to talk about making the food as the actual cooking. That poor mom ! I know she was an amazing mother. May she rest in peace!

Unbelievable. Why didn't the guy just break up with her? So he didn't have to pay child support? If he disliked her so much, why would he go on with the cherade that they were going to get married? And to think you are going to get away with it?

Our two children, (young adults, and living in their apartments, locally now), always went on every vacation with my husband and I and we couldn't ever think of anything else how it would be.
We are so proud of them, and miss the home being filled every day with their beautiful selves, but I could never wrap my mind around how some people even say now, "can't wait for the holiday to be over, and they are back at school". I'd always reply, "I wish they were home 3 more weeks!!!"

While this is being discussed I found myself thinking about the similarities in these type cases. #1 If not committed enough for a long term relationship then why have a child? #2 strong educated female becomes engaged and has a child. The biological father not at the same level. #3 He is engaged to one woman and seeing another. The girlfriend/ mistress is aware. What a mess!
Having been married to two abusive men who worked quickly to connect through sex, the baby was not in the plan. Control was the plan.
@@jts3505 that may be so but every time a woman has sex unless sterilized the potential is there for pregnancy.
