That's true, I just got a Fake AirPod 3 for like $34.99 in a Chinese vendor market, everything looks the same, the box, the instruction and all those functions, not sure if the sound quality is good as Apple cuz I don't have a real one. Good for people like me who are on a tight budget😂

i bought myself fake airpods pro from dhgate, and i was SHOOK when i saw it up close. i didn't own the real ones so i had nothing to compare it to, but it looked real to me! it also "paired" to my phone so i was super excited to use them. long story short, they looked real but they sucked. obviously, sound quality was terrible, then the battery life was very subpar. wasn't really worth it even though it was cheap. bought the authentic ones on christmas as a treat to myself and let me tell y'all now-the difference in sound quality blew me away lol. get the real ones, people.

The truth is, it doesn't really cost like $200 to make those airpods even for Apple. And the apple original airpods are made in china so it's not that hard for China to reverse engineer them. Of course they're not going to be as good as the original ones, but still it doesn't cost the huge price we pay for original airpods for Apple to manufacture them. So it kinda makes sense that someone can make decent quality clones for a fraction of the price.
