They have more precise control over body mechanics, voice, etc, which makes it easier to add depth and to play to the audience, so to speak. Although Jonathon Bailey is a brilliant actor regardless! In Bridgerton Simone tends to end up supporting his performance so her own doesn't stand out as much, I haven't seen her in anything else so I can't speak to her acting ability.
I think that none of the couple can overcedes this couple given how this season turns out ...benedict is just going on , going on and on like wheres your damn art , didnt like frenchesc's partner ..was too dull, didnt like sir philip as well ..makers should understand romance should not be overburderned with plot twist and turns ..it simply captures the journey between lovers ..

Bailey being trained in theatre helps a lot. You have to have a very impactful presence in front of a live audience.
