Moors & Christians Benidorm 2023

A fiesta that takes place in Benidorm at the end of every Sept-Oct, this tells of the battles between the Moors and Christians throughout Spain. Historically set in the early 1500's, it follows the conflict right up to the Peace Parley, when a truce is negotiated, and the Moors leave the Town. Unfortunately, the best laid plans and weeks of research, fell apart when I fell within 1 hour of arriving,, broke three fingers on my camera operating hand, and had to rest. I did, however manage to do the two parades only using an iPhone 11, and the thumb and forefinger not in the cast like a tripod. So, here they are. Worth a million euros are those Timpani players, non stop playing for about 2 hours!!. Respect.

Brilliant video's even though you were injured well done . I was talking to you at Benidorm and have subscribed. I felt I had to really because looking through your video's my wife and I are on two of them haha...keep up the good work.

Am well on in recovery, the cast is now finger splints. Really pleased you like it

Out again end September to do the festival properly with proper gear, and non slip footwear

Recovering slowly. The cast now off and just strappings on now. Three broken fingers, 5 broken metacarpals, bruised ribs, and other stuff like multiple bruises. It was worth it to capture this though. Thanks for the subscription
