I have the original Moblite7 and it has been an awesome backyard flyer. It is very tempting to upgrade to the improved image quality of HDZero compared to analog.
Sweet little HDZero whoop, just need to conserve some juice for pulling out of dives. The USB location is a bit of a concern like you mentioned. Hope the board reorientation works out, since this could be a potential free mod that is just better all around. Great review Albert!!!
Cool Cool Cool. I like these whoops. Smaller, less bothersome in public. (harder to work on) They usually fly well, less inertia, less damage to object and or people, cheaper batteries. This is a cool little whoop. I can understand how difficult it might be to control. I like you management idea to make it more controllable. I guess this was made for outdoors. Great video. Nice little quad, but I guess some adjustments are required to make it indoor friendly.
I swapped my whoops over to gnb27 voltage sag across the board is a thing of the past. Absolutely worth it specially if your in need of replacing batteries anyway.
Great review. Close but no cigar. Usb port touching the frame, feels rushed to market. For the added weight and power requirements I think 85mm whoop and 2s would give much better performance. I use 1102 9000kv motors on my 85mm whoop, Xt30 connector . I'm interested in seeing what you can do with this whoop, it has potential. Happy flying everyone. 🤓
The usb location in the frame is odd, i have seen the Nick Burns video about this quad and he has to use a long nose usb cable. I replaced my micro quad connectors to GNB27, performs way better, some people prefer the bt2.0. Some people like the high kv in this small whoops, but they usually fly fast. I am pretty sure you will get a better flight time when you replace the connector for a better one. Awesome review Albert, hope to see a update on this quad some day in the future.
That is a shame about the usb location in relation to the frame. The board rotation argument doesn’t sound right. Looking forward to see you turning the board. I do like the size of that frame. Generally I fly whoops outside. It is still crazy that it’s still less than 30g. The original mobula 7 used both 1-1s or 2 x 1s. Not sure why they didn’t do something similar in this. Thanks Albert
I guess what walksnail/hdzero advantages are that it can be fitted into a small tinywhoop unlike dji. It is good that there are a lot of digital fpv alternatives so people have the option to choose, instead of when dji was monopolizing the digital fpv market. Great review Albert!
I have converted my mobula6 hdzero to this frame. USB solution is to rotate the FC 90 deg. Desolder motors then poke wires through lower front and back and resolder to closest pads. Configure betaflight to rotate FC and remap motor positions. Extend battery cable by about 15mm. I'm still using mobula6 tune. flies perfect
He said in the video that with a 520mah he can fly for about 3 minutes, but i think if he replaces the connector from a ph 2.0 to a bt2.0 or GNB27 he can get a better flight time.

Loving the clarity!

Thanks for sharing
Fantastic flying and review, Albert! 😃
But yeah, a horizontal USB should've been their choice!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Sheesh looks like I need to grab a vrx and give that whoop a go. Looks like it's pretty good. Great work on the vid. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do!

I did the same, the power is much better.

2:56 Also adds shock pressure to the USB socket on landing, risking the FC board. Time to break out the Dremel and hot glue gun.
More reason to rotate the board...

Nice. I like this version over the original 2s.
i wanna get one of these even analog version as i dont have digital yet :)

There are DJI versions of the Baby Nano 20 and I've got a naked Vista on a 75mm whoop before.
Can’t wait for the goggles
😎
Would prefer this one or a M6 HDZ with the smaller motors on a 75mm frame?
You could just replace the smaller motors on this quad.

I was able to rotate it without desolering or making any Betaflight changes. See my IG post.
Nice
why is the cross hair off center in the OSD?
The whole OSD is off center actually. There's a way to adjust that in the menu but I forgot to do that.
@@AlbertKimTV thanks for the answer :)
