Wooowwww! Mandy, you've done it again! In Memphis we smoke EVERYTHING so as a twist....drop some wetted hickory chips on the fire, move the oysters off the heat, and close the lid to the grill. These"tasty babies" will be fully smoked in about 10-15 minutes and you will have another way to eat this delicious recipe! Thanks, as always!!!
Oh wow! Remember trying these in Asia! They were so fresh and tasted amazing ... the only thing, like you said, there's a lot of garlic and it lingers a bit - but worth it! Your videos reminds me of our adventures and inspired us to start our own UA-cam channel. Please keep them coming.
It is important to know that one side of the oyster shell is flat, the other side rounded. When shelling the oysters, you want the flat side up, so that when that shell is removed, the body of the oyster and the juice stay in the rounded deep side. YUM!
I really appreciate your videos you have a very good voice for those videos.i understand every word you say and you explain the most important things about cooking. I also like your recepies. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Really glad I found your channel. I love your recipes and your recommendations. I made a lot of things I never thought I would or could. Thank you again.
I've never had grilled oysters or even fresh 1ns.. I found A local market that sells fresh oysters so I bought some and will be trying this tmrw.. thank you
Nicely done, the garlic sauce looks simple and delicious 👍 The only thing I would recommend is that you get a good quality oyster knife, I think it would make your opening a lot easier
Looks so good! I think you could also add the same or similar topping to Scallops on their shell as well. I think I've also tried scallops before which had maybe a similar garlic paste and also cheese, and it was caramelized so maybe they use a blow torch to do that. The taste was awesome 👍👍
clean the shells then put them on the grill with the cupped shell on the bottom and the flat shell on top. when they are ready they will open up by themselves. then pull the top shell off and add the garlic sauce. run a knife under the oyster to cut the muscle and then serve.,,,, this is how we do it when we are cooking them on a bbQ grill. but the same will work in an oven as well.
That''s a great appetizer before a full on Australian BBQ. I'd be interested to know your thoughts if Mussels could be substituted instead of Oysters? Thanks, Allan
You have to try the Mexican style. They use tequila and or beer(Tecate, Corona, etc.), hot sauce and lime. It's pretty good with lots of people at a party.

Hi 👋 I’d like to know if this channel teaches us AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD! The type of foods you eat in Chinese homes? I now know that many so-called Chinese food at takeaway restaurants aren’t actually the food Chinese people eat themselves! I was shocked to find out that dishes like orange chicken and beef and broccoli etc are American Chinese recipes not authentic Chinese recipes! I was very disappointed to hear there are actually two menus in Chinese restaurants one for the lowlife westerners I.e sweet sticky syrupy slop and a different menu for the Chinese customers I.e good healthy hearty food that can’t get you fat (I love Chinese takeout but I was told it’s not what Chinese people really eat and it’s just like eating McDonald’s)
I watched three seconds of your video before stopping it because I saw you putting all that crap on a perfectly good oyster. All that oyster needs on it is my teeth it does not need anything to mess up the flavor.
Yum!!! Garlic and any mollusks go together like fresh air&sunshine!
I’m going to try this tonight! I have all ingredients and oysters already, waiting to be used in a simple but yummy recipe! Thanks, Mandy!
Enjoy.

The best part of the video is watching you eat but did not see you in this video.
The traditional Chinese style would not be with cooking oil but with lard, right?
I like it

Is oyster sauce (Lee Kum Kee) supposed to be salty? Like really salty?
No. Oyster sauce has a complex flavor, but i personally think it is sweet and savory with a hint of ocean flavor.
Ten voted down, and left no comment. I can eat this all day, raw ones in between.
Hi everyone. Check out Adam jones balcony garden and let me know what you think. Thanks.
12 oysters in Morrisons at 70p each = £8.40p…..Cornish oysters.

You need an oyster knife.
