Hi there! the result of the mic test in this video is very different from that in the video where you compare these earbuds (Liberty Air 2) to the AirPods Pro. In this video the background noise cannot be detected; in this other video the background noise is clearly there. Any reason why? Ultimately, I'm trying to decide bw the Fiil T1X and the Liberty Air 2. Any suggestions?
Is it possible to control you voice assistant , volume , tracks, and play pause at the same time from the earbuds or can you only have maximum two at a time ?
Not really... It's bad anywhere that is not a quiet room... I.e. most places you'd use it slightly noisy office, gym, coffeeshop, subway, walking down the street.. which are places you'd most use it in.

Keep it up!
I’ve tried a bunch from Best Buy. These are the best super comfortable and perfect for the gym. Volume level is the best of all of them I’ve tried. Bass forward but doesn’t distort at all. Easy buy at $90 is what I paid

Love the review - very clear and informative. I’m stuck between these, the life p2, and the soundpeats trucapsules. My main concern is good sound quality - not to bass heavy but not lacking bass either. I also would like to know if the button on the life 2 is hard to press because sometimes the buttons hurt to press. Thank you so much
May not be released in the US or else they just have too big of a list to do every mid to mid-high earbuds (That one my bet try to message them to do it!)
I haven't tried the soundpeats trupods. But I have tried the true capsule. Soundpeats has good deep sounds, but you will get more clarity and better microphone with the Liberty Air 2.
Nice review. Will stick with my Sabbat E12 Ultras tho because of its sleek and low profile design. May I know the title of the song for the music sample #2? Thank you.
Hi Brian, an excellent review. I´m not sure if I should buy Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 or Cambridge Audio Melomania 1? What´s your opinion? Which has better quality sound and mic for calls? Thaxs
Liberty Air 2 will have better mic in my opinon. Also you will get more of a warm sound with them, and the ability to adjust the eq settings in the app.
Hey. I am interested to use them for phone calls a lot - would you recommend these ones? are they a big improvment in terms of microphone compared to the the first libery air?
Great video Brian! A question; how would you rate these for running? Do they fit well without falling out? I saw some footage in which you were, and they look like they fit well, but I figured I'd ask.
Depends how you like to listen to music. Indy is bass heavy. Liberty Air 2 not as heavy. You will also have better microphone and eq presets with Liberty.
Brian, would you say that mic quality of these are comparable to the airpods? Also, would you know when the jabra elite 75t s are likely to be launched? I'd think they'll take the crown for call quality.
This is a good review! Would you be doing a comparison with Airpods Pro by any chance? I think they are good competitor. On the other hand, It would be beneficial if you could include few other details into the video. e.g. USB C charging, how much charge can I get with a 10 or 15 mins charging to case. Earbuds, can I get an hour of charging just by popping them into case for 5 or 10 mins? What happens to music or video, when I take one of the ear bud off? Does it pause and also resume once both the earbuds are back in ears. Do earbuds work with Google assistant or Siri or Alexa? Do earbuds work individually? or are they Master/Slave configuration.

@@BrianUnboxed How did you get the microphone samples? I read some reviews saying that the mic wasn't what it said it was. Just curious before i buy :)
Microphone is actually pretty loud and clear. Tested it numerous times for phone calls, and no issues at all. Other party had no issues hearing me at all, and they said it is loud and clear.
Yes, you can control them on the ear piece. The app also let's you re-assign the different functions. Depending on how you want to control the touch. You can see screen shots of the app, and I mention it in the video...
I don't like the pause feature when you remove left or right ear bud anyway of disabling this feature? Otherwise pretty good upgrade from the Jlab executives I had.
Brian, this was a great review! However, you forgot an important detail... Can you use either left or right earbud independently? Or is this still the same Master & Slave set up that the previous Liberty Airs had? Please keep up the good work
In my testing it seems like its a master/semi-master type of setup. They can both be used independently but you have to understand the process Upon the first pairing process, after pairing the device "ANKER SOUNDCORE LIBERTY AIR 2", it will send a request to pair the left earbud as "ANKER SOUNDCORE LIBERTY AIR 2-L". So when you are paired and listening to both earbuds, putting the left earbud in the case will disconnect the left bud and the right one will stay paired as "ANKER SOUNDCORE LIBERTY AIR 2". Pulling the left bud back out of the case will turn it back on. But putting the right earbud in the case will disconnect both buds for a moment and will attempt to connect to the left bud if its still out of the case(it will pair as "ANKER SOUNDCORE LIBERTY AIR 2-L"). When you are connected to the left bud and pull the right bud out of the case, it will turn on the right bud but both buds will stay paired as "ANKER SOUNDCORE LIBERTY AIR 2-L". In this case putting the left bud in the case will also disconnect both buds for a moment and will attempt to connect to "ANKER SOUNDCORE LIBERTY AIR 2". It works well and the soundcore app contributes to how well it works as the app will automatically open and easily detect the buds for a "seamless" experience. Its not airpods seamless, but for the features (USB-C!, WIRELESS CHARGING!! FAST CHARGING!!!, BLUETOOTH 5, IPX5, Auto-Pause) and quality you get at this price (Got mine in black for $89.99 with Google's 20% shopping discount) This is a steal!!!! The buds fit comfortably and will stay in the ears. Different tips for everybody's needs. The matte finish on the case prevents them from slipping out of your pockets even compared to the first gen where they will fall out and the impact sent the buds flying. Ive played a 3on3 with these on and even in an intense basketball game these buds will stay in your ears and the case will stay in your pocket. Great for exercise and running! Battery life is on point. If your buds are low just drop them in the case for only 10 mins and you'll get 2 hours of playback. 30 mins and your buds are basically fully charged. The case charges fast in my experience as well and if you forgot you charger but have a wireless charger or the latest galaxy phones with reverse wireless charging, just drop them on and they will charge. Sound quality is great and clean, wish it was like two notches louder but it still gets pretty loud. Call quality is great haven't experienced any issues and people were able to hear me well and understand what I was saying. They connect fast as well. As soon as you open the case the buds will pair up The only con I can give is when you pull out a bud for auto pause and go to put it back it in for it to resume, its a big hit or miss. The remedy for this is setting double tap to play and pause on both earbuds so you can just double tap the one you put back in to resume playback when it doesnt want to work. As far as touch controls, I know alot of people have some issues with these. My advice is to use firm and steady taps to activate the controls. Trying to tap too fast and/or too lightly will cause your touch not to register in cases where the conditions arent ideal. All in all, I highly recommend these, especially if you are trying to save money and want something you can do intense physical activity with.
Thanks, I think I'm gonna get them. Hopefully they can go sale. If not than I'll probably still buy them I was thinking about getting Jlab executives because they seem cheap and decent. But if these are as good as you say it is then it's worth the price
