Yes, it's true that Tanjiro is not as powerful as Yoriichi, but Yoriichi was born to destroy Muzan, But Tanjiro Followed this path to take revenge from Muzan, But looking at how he gained power in a shot period of time along with Combining his Both Breaths of Sun and Water as well as Transparent World and Heightened Smell sense he could have reached Yoriichi level by Training for some more time, cause he was of too young age to fight Muzan and it was unfortunate what Muzan did to him, but if the series would have continued at age of like 25 - 27, he would have take Muzan by himself, just see how just in a span of 4 years ( 2years of Urokodaki Training and 2 Years as DMS) He gave a tough fight to Upper Moon 6, 5 and 4 where the higher pillars were finding it tough, You Can see him as a reincarnation of Yoriichi, but he could have surpassed him if story would have continued

I found it kinda funny that tanjiro is legend level but I understood because when he was knocked out during the poison in his eye he saw yorichi doing the 13 forms and realized his footwork was off and he needed improvement so it make sense to put him up there because he became the strongest “living” demon slayer but if they combined inoskue and zenistu they could surpass yorichi but idk

13th form tanjuro definitely weaker than yoriichi but for demon king tanjirou he can basically be stronger due to yoriichi and demon king tanjiro basiclly immortal. So the fight will end depends on who get tired first. Demon king tanjiro is immortal because he is immune to sun and nichirin blade. Using nichirin blade on tanjiro are just like you using normal katana on upper moon.
Ya cant get tired as demon. And yuriichi has insane speed plus stamina which means he cant get tired. In the end we dont know who will win bc we never know lmao.

I like how everyone agrees that Yoriichi is stronger than demon king Tanjiro even though demon king Tanjiro should technically be completely immortal as the sun nor red blades work on him and seeing as upper moon 3 and 1 both regrew their head he should easily be able to do it too I mean I too think Yoriichi is stronger because he's supposed to be the strongest but it's just kinda funny when you think about it

yeah the ranking is wrong, 13th form tanjiro didn't even touch yoriichi's level, even muzan stated that none of them could swing their sword like yoriichi could. Tanjiro was also saved by Iguro because he blacked out from breathing too much, so he'd be dead right now if not for Iguro saving him. Demon king tanjiro is a whole different story, nothing could damage him so he could've just killed everyone
