Tested it out in the range and found some tech that makes the battle axe is actually broken but not for the actual melee combat reasons. By using quick melee instantly after a reload (when theres the cooldown with the clock before firing again) you can quick melee with the battle axe and the spin goes out insanely quickly allowing you to fire almost immediately. This cant be done with other melee animations as they require the full swing animation to play before switching back, but the battle axe does its special spin move then switches back to the previous weapon very fast. This can be huge and allow you to fire almost a full second faster with weapons like the rpg or sniper. Not only that but the quick melee also cuts all momentum, so if you are launched by an explosive you can stay on the ground and instantly deal the 35 damage from the spin. This seems very niche (and it kinda is) but one scenario ive seen it have great use is a close range direct shot rpg into an instant spin move (which cancels your launch) that does 155 dmg (instakill) if they are in range. Of course the scythe or katana will be wayy more versatile than the battle axe in 90% of situations, but it is nowhere near the useless weapon everyone says it is.
i agree i think it's good, i think it's a mini scythe and it was very fun when i tested it. For me it was easier and faster to pull off a dash + tripmine tech with the axe instead of the scythe, but the scythe offers way more speed. I think axe will be very good for cqc just bcuz u can dash a lot more. But i still think scythe is far superior as it can give vertical movement which the axe cannot.
I believe the ideal play style intended was for heavy rushing capability. Move towards the opponent while shooting and during reload you quick melee into them doing more damage. It is easier to do damage with the dash from axe than with scythe.
I am a huge fan of the battle axe tbh. It sucks for sure in solos, but if you bring that thing into trios, its a monster. I played a game of 3v3 docks and I nade boosted to get close (while holding the slingshot for the movement speed increase) and I used the axe to hit 2 people, doing 70 damage, and then I just sprayed them with sling.
I enjoy using the axe. like I will play with it like how you would use a katanna as when i am out of ammo in my ar i just quick melee and then i use ability which= 85 dmg. I feel that the axe is underratted and that people need to learn that it is not meant to be used for the movement speed but for its huge amounts of damage that it is able to output. like 85 dmg is nothing to joke about. I find myself winning games more consistantly wih the axe, and while I dont think the axe is trash I would even say its quote good, this is not a noob friendly weapon. there is so much mechanics that you need to learn before this weapon can even be benifial to you. like yea the sythe is better but the axe is used for its damage output not movement like the sythe.
for me fist seem to be better at least fist allow you to double jump. the only thing axe can do is fighting in a close range which can easily replace by knife

Yet, the moment a famous or reputable person plays on mobile, it suddenly becomes acceptable, and no one has an issue with it. The double standards are wild. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
My take on this is that not all mobile players are bad, but there is are people that use strategies that are very annoying/difficult to counter (sniper, exogun, etc.). As a console player, I’m seriously confused why console isn’t hated as much as mobile is. There definitely is a double standard for mobile players though.
its because autofire with aimassist makes practically aimbot to the point where the phone literally plays for you. watch in tanQrs video where he used a controller and mobilethey both played for him

your primary should be whats killing them. your melee should be for movement or do something at least
