- Ahead of their highly-anticipated concert, BINI continues to receive advice from some of the biggest icons in the Philippine music industry.
On Monday -- four days before "BINIverse" -- the Nation's Girl Group welcomed Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano, during their rehearsals.
In an intimate conversation that lasted nearly an hour, Valenciano shared stories from his career that has spanned four decades.

Yes they are! Actually during DCN era they lowkey proved that they can do beyond what a global performer can do. Kasi biruin mo pop idols na kayang mag vibrato, falsetto, belting and harmonize sa live singing and dancing? Even in Acapella they sound so good! Very rare ang complete package na pop groups na hindi lang pang pop music kundi pang ballad pa? Sadyang hindi lng sila sumikat agad kasi hindi pa Open ang mga pinoy sa Ppop music during that time kahit nga SB19 nahirapan i introduce ang Ppop Music sa sariling kababayan kasi mas nauna ang lait ng mga pinoy kesa pag tanggap pati mga sarili nating media iniinsulto yung potential ng Ppop Music lol. Itong BINI predicted na sisikat tlga sila sa Pinas agad kasi, hindi naman sa pag ja judge, among Ppop Girlgroup yung musicality tlga nila yung mas naka align sa OPM and they proved it in their songs Na Na Na, Lagi, I Feel Good, Pantropiko, Karera and Salamin-Salamin na very relatable sa mga Filo listeners. They are the first Ppop Girlgroup who successfully executed Pinoy Bubblegum Pop genre even their English songs can compete with global pop groups sadyang hindi lng napansin kc hndi pa tlga masyadong open ang mga pinoy sa Ppop music. But now look at them! The 4 years sacrifice they've made is now bearing fruit! Their dedication to improve day by day, their passion on their crafts, The love for each other and for people and their humility is what made them put to success

hindi naman.. their songs are catchy, but sounds like Pinoy novelty songs. music production pinoy na pinoy parin yung tunog, mej low quality and low budget, even their MVs. i doubt if foreigners (not the clout chaser youtubers/reactors) will actually like it.
That's what should Filipino artists do bring OPM to the world.. We should do what other countries do like the western cultures we embraced them and even loved them.. Its about time to showcase our own music and if they do like it or not at least we tried we cannot please everybody..
Wait what? Pinoy na pinoy parin ang tunog? Hmm baka siguro dahil Girl Group from Philippines sila? Haha I think you're being senseless there. Regardless, their songs are actually heavily K-pop inspired, it's not that hard to notice when you've been listening to a lot of K-pop. However, what separates them from the K-pop industry is how they make their vocals stand out instead of the MV visuals carrying them, pinoy na pinoy talaga yung vocal prowess and that's a good thing because that's what Filipino's are known for. It is called P-pop after all. Regarding the MV, they're a fairly new group in a young industry scene, of course MV budget would be low. Even K-pop started at low production. No one will invest in a static industry that doesn't make money but Bini is looking to change that soon, they are bringing attention and the money and that catches investors eyes. Hopefully it'll keep going in the right direction.
You must be a casual listener and only listen to the songs na nagtrend. I used to be one until I checked every single songs they released and realized how diverse their discography is. Try checking the rest of their discography and get back to me if you still think that their music production is pinoy na pinoy pa rin yung tunog. If you still think otherwise, then you should check your taste in music 🙂 I recommend checking their “no fear” single for example for a start.
Karera sounds like a novelty song? I Feel Good? Golden Arrow? Strings? Pantropiko? Salamin Salamin? Lagi? Last time I checked Pinoy novelty songs don't sound as good as these tracks.
@@KCar-fx3mo One thing that separates not only PPOP but the OPM is that they provide this energy through music.. Perfect example dyan ang Raining in Manila the song is a sad song but they made it sound like a happy song.. Jong Malidaday is also a perfect example in making cover song a new twist.. When you say tunog pinoy pa din ibig sabhin nyan wala kang pagmamahal at tiwala sa sarili nating musika na kaya us makipagsabayan with our own style.. Kaya namamayagpag ang kpop and western dahil kakaidolo nyu sa knila na kung tutuusin walang binatbat mga yan baka sa random pinoy karaoke enthusiasts taob na mga yan.. We are dubbed as the best singers in the world but we failed to compensate kasi ugali ng pinoy ang dapat baguhin..
