Loved how easy this was to follow! I'll definitely be making these to hang in my room to add a more wintery feel :)
There's a similar craft for Halloween, if you make them bigger and add fake spiders to it, looks like a spider web ball. In that videos they used white school glue and soaked Wool yarn in it first, then wrapped it around the balloon.
So much better than the first video I watched on how to make these glitter ball ornaments!
Very nice decoration and u explained it so well
I bought balls similar to these at Pier 1 Imports. I knew there was a way to make them and now I know how! Thanks.
😇💜 OMGOODNESS SWEETIE, This by far is the BEST I have seen, after watching so many tutorials, on how to make them.🤗 Your
SN❄️ WFLAKE turned out REALLY CUTE.🤗💜
Thank YOU for sharing your CREATIVITY.🧶❄️🧶❄️🧶
its easier to do if you let the string sit in the glue/water mix and pull it onto the balloon that way. It gets evenly coated and will stick better. Glue mix should be equal parts :)
oooh~ that would be easier. thanks for the tip :D
Love the tutorial! Will definitely be making these with the kiddos this year! Thank you so much for the step by step instructions!
Easy and beautiful idea!
That is so cute, and easy to make.I'm going to try it.Thanks for posting it.
Thanks for this vid. I just made a bunch of these for my tree!

REALLY good tutorial! I'm going to do it today.
Really cute!
Thanks for sharing!
Love this diy♡
Very nicely explained. Thank you!
Lovely ... i'm going to try string cos I don't have wool at home! Thanks for sharing
For those asking, you could use Elmer's glue, mixed 50/50 with water.
Also, to keep the glitter mess to a minimum, use glitter glue or mix the glitter into your glue/water solution. You could also use a three part mix of pearlescent acrylic medium or paint, Elmer's glue and water if, like me, you feel that glitter is the evil herpes of craft supplies.
super nice!
So cute.will be making some of these!
Really cute!
Hm...it might vary depending on the size, what type of string and maybe even how much you used. Some of mine dried overnight, others took a little longer. But I say the best bet is to just leave them alone to dry for at least 24 hours :) Good luck!
I love that idea! I will try it:) thank you!
I really like your tutorial.. :)
This is so cute! I got to try this♥
They are so cute! thanks
Pretty!
I really liked your tutorial x😄
:) really easy to make but a huge pain to clean up afterwards haha if you ever try it don't forget to have paper underneath - makes the cleanup less of a hassle (i learned the hard way :P) and thank you for watching :)
wow fantastic idea...
Awesome easy tutorial
Awesome will be making a bunch for Christmas 2014.
I started on mine today. I'm making all my tree ornaments this year.
Good job 👍
I did some sparkly white wool so I didn't need to do the glitter!
or you can also just spread the glue mixture onto the yarn and balloon
Thank you! Very good!
Hi Tammy! Hope you enjoyed the video and if you try it out I hope they come out really pretty!! :D

Esta Bellos!!
opps i try do this but its not really hard and when i popped the balloon the yarn is broke ... i used shellwood glue its of
very nice fantastic
Thisnis so easy thanks so much
Good
Wow
Nice
can you describe me which kind of glue is that?
i like it
Which glue did you use? Can we use other glue?
I did this and my yarn collapsed with the balloon and the glitter got everywhere. Should I use more glue in the water? Or should I have soaked it longer? Idk I made several and they all ended up the same way. :(
+Dathan Neal Mine too. Not sure whether to add more water or more glue to the mix
Thank"s.For the video.
very nice superb
can it be any kind of glue mixed with water??
Im gonna try that but can you add hairspry at the end so that it hardens a bit more?
maybe yes😏but just maybe😅
Can u just use spray starch?
Wow. that was really pretty ...Thank you!...how long did it take to dry?
its best to let them dry for about 24 hours just to be safe :)
Kann man statt diesem tacky glue auch einfachen flüssigkleber nehmen?
yes.. it should be fine. translate, anyone?
DIY Christmas ball!! Y si gustas checa mis otros vídeos!! Thanks
can they go outside?
Does anyone know what kind of string that is? Is it yarn or twine?? I honestly don't think it matters but you never know...
+STEPHANIE SALA hi :) I used a thin type of yarn/wool that I just found at Michael's.
What time?
I made this with my class at school but It was not really easy ahaha :/ But it was fun :D
piekna ☺
Will actual in string work as well?
This not in
Is that string or yarn you're using?
louie campbella yarn
can we use a different colored yarn?
yep :) the glue dries clear (i retested to make sure haha) so it shouldn't be a problem
Thanks :)
My balloon is not round
I had that problem and my daughter suggested blowing up water balloons. It worked, they're round but stretch the balloon a little, it makes blowing it up a little easier.
Thank you, I will try later this year
she's a real Martha Stewart
how long is the piece of yarn?
+songvang1 You can use however much you want :) It doesn't need to be a specific length
very nise top
Can you use regular elmars school glue for this?
I've never tried it with elmer's glue... all I can really say is that the drying time might be a little longer. As for holding the shape I'm not too sure because I don't really know if tacky is much stronger than elmer's glue You can always do a quick test run and maybe not make the glue-water mixture too watery. Hope this helps a little.
