I wonder how James reacted at the news of Rise's death... Must have been totally shocked.. It's scary how you just don't know when other people's life will end.. That someone you know's life can be taken away in an instant.. One day they're healthy and there and the next they could be involved in a tragedy that will possibly take their life. I feel so proud of Rise. The MCs were constantly praising James and saying that Rise was weak but Rise actually swam harder than the preliminary and did her best even if she was constantly told how much of a burden she is to James.. I teared up a little while watching this... Rise I hope you're happy where you are now with EunB.. You two were gorgeous girls, inside and out.. It's so hard to watch this now... EunB, Rise, Ladies code... they didn't deserve all this.. I wish I could bring them back.. James and Rise I was cheering for the whole time. I'm glad Rise could find a nice team and get some happiness with that. James was way better than any other swimmer but Rise kept trying hard to not hold her team back. They were cute! I wouldn't prefer any other pairing. I also liked Jiwoo and Julianne's team. Julianne is sooo pretty. It's good they at least won some medals :)
[just some comments from a competitive swimmer] James was the only guy who really knew the proper form. It really irked me when the didn't tuck their hair under their caps or put the cap over their ears (he was also the only one who knew how to do a flip turn) His time is pretty good for someone who did waterpolo and not competitive swimming. His 50m time is good for a girl lol (it's about a 26 in yards I think and I do a 24) but his 25m is really fast (faster than what I've done sometimes) I loved royal pirates before and now James has earned more love from me ;ㅈ; (Juliane was also really good and although Rise wasn't the best her times were still decent.. She's also really cute hehe)

I started to watch Dream team because of the China-Korea episode where Hani participated. Then I couldn´t stop watching more and more episodes and feeling amazed by all these extraordinarily skillfull people. Besides, I feel like all the participants have lovable personalities, everyone in their own way. So it is sad to know the Rise's story (RIP), but also sad to know about James accident too, I hope he continues recovering with the time, so he could do all the things he loves (music and sports) and is a pro in it.
I'm glad that Rise started doing a lot better in the later rounds. She even maintained a smaller gap between her and Chris in the end so I think she did pretty well at that point.

ME!! I have been saying this forever. It is because of Dream Team that I watch Korean music/shows today. I understand around the winter season they try doing other games instead of just obstacles with new young members. The good members such as Ricky, Seongjio, Jaemin, Taeho etc.. are probably told not to show up for a few episodes so the new members can have a chance. But now it is just getting ridiculous. They have been dragging this thing way too long. After the king of kings episode it just went down hill from there. The games keep getting worse and boring and this is the longest break Ricky Kim has been on. I just hope the old cast (Ricky, Seongjo, Dongjun, Dongseang) are at least back soon.
Couldn't agree more! The new cast really isn't doing it for me. An ace like Ricky is hard to find. Without someone like him, the show simply lost its thrill that it once had. I'm pretty sure that's why people tune into Dream team in the first place.

The old cast isn't gone at all. Every Winter season they would try to do other games instead of the normal obstacles race with new young celebrities. Only problem is that it has been going on way too long. Spring is already here and I still don't know when the old cast is coming back yet.

She's really lucky she got paired with James, he pulled the team's weight. wow. it feels strange watching this knowing that rise is dead. its completely different to watching something with someone like an old person or someone from long before this time dead since thats a given, but she wasnt even 25.
For those saying that they don't like seeing foreigners on korean shows, don't forget that the show is made for korean citizens, and they want to promote multiculturalism amongst korean people. They try to be more open minded about foreigners in their country (I am not saying that korean are closed minded) and i think it's a great thing. But i do agree that Browyn can be annoying sometimes.... :)
