What did you sprinkle on the blue fabric ?
Heat activated powered glue. I've seen it used in quilting too.

Please pause when you show dimensions and also identify the products you use. Was that large piece of white fabric a stiff, fusible interfacing? And the powder is available where and what is it called. I like your projects but need adequate information to reproduce them. Thank you.
Hello. White fabric is a rigid fabric with an adhesive backing. We call it "dublerin"

It's a tailor's clapper, a hardwood piece for ironing and quilting. Dunno about the powder, though
