Much needed topic to speak upon I have seen riders in group crusing on highways using hazard flasher One youtuber in his video said that bcz of using i get and idea where is my friend . One day in city a couple was on bike and the guy was using hazard I had to take a right turn , the hazard guy suddenly came in front of me bcz he had to take a right , i ignored Then I had to take a right turn again i was behind him I tried to overtake then suddenly he came in front and took a right direction, all this while his both indicators were blinking I overtaked him and signalled him blinkers ? Where ? Twice , then he switched off his hazard To anyone who uses hazard , don't use it cities and on highways , it confuses people and u can get another and yourself in trouble Peace , safe ride ✌️
Also people use hazard light to indicate they are driving straight, without turning in an Intersection. For driving straight no indication is required. If turning left or right, indicators should be used. Hazard lights to be used purely in hazardous conditions.

In monsoon sometimes tail light gets cover by mud... Or in heavy rain... Or highway were roads are pitch dark... So it's useful...
I agree that we are not using Hazard lights for the right reason. Even to this day there are people who use hazard light to go straight at an intersection. However, the helmet lights (basic one without connecting it to brake lights) are to avoid hazard lights because many don't slow down in low visibility conditions. I use helmet light in low visibility condition in highway or ghat sections and has been very handy.

Its a wrong info.. You shouldn't use a hazard light if your vehicle is in motion even if the visibility drops down due to fog or rain( except for hazardous situations like brake failure or not being able to control your vehicle). Hazard light should only be used in stationary vehicles.
Well to your information that's still a debatable topic ... The basic thing is that people should follow lane etiquette. Using hazard lights will give more visibility but one should be very careful while using them in very heavy rains ...that's my point
