Thank you so much for showcasing my retextures! I really like your content and am really happy to see you like my work too! Overall, I am extremely happy to see my work being enjoyed by so many people. It truly means a lot to me As some people mentioned already, I do plan on covering all vanilla and CC armors and weapons. Once all my individual retextures are out, I will create a vanilla All-in-one and a CC All-in-one. To make it easier to install. Thanks again and keep up the great work, I look forward to your next video!
Looking forward to every new piece of content from both of you - thank you for all your work and efforts increasing my game experience and I M M E R S I O N
As far as i know Xavio plans on retexturing all of the armours and weapons in the game including AE cc content so if you like their stuff they will eventually cover everything, They also cover alot of armour mods like Immersive armours. Vigilant and Bosmer armour. Great Vid!
Xavbio's textures are perfect for those who love AmidianBorn, but have been using the Book of Silence textures for a long time and want a bit of a fresh look while keeping the style. I love that he covers the CC alts and Xbows as well as the base armors, so it keeps a nice level of cohesion.

I've been trying to get back into modding and I've watched a ton of showcase videos, and out of every single video I've found I vibe with your taste in mods the most. Thank you so much for sharing!
New to your videos. I think the thing I'm most impressed by, which is best shown in the Rustic Clothing showcase at the end, is how SEAMLESSLY you transition between old texture and new: You MATCH THE SWAYING! NPCs sway back and forth a little bit, and you synch it up up perfectly. That's dedication and skill.
Always a good day when the Bard drops a new video! You have out done yourself with this video. The editing is top notch! Thank you so much for a great showcase :)
I think that this channel is criminally underrated, considering that each video you make is better than the last one. Not to say that previous ones are bad in any way. Keep it up, you're definitely nailing it :)
Wooop thank you so much, that is such a nice thing to hear! I do feel like I progress very quickly with every new video, and feel quite the embarrasment about the old ones xD I guess that's normal! Cheers! 💚
Honestly, NordWarUA's Dwarven armour looks AMAZING!!! I do want to find a good Daedric armour to fit with Crazylion's daedric weapon replacer, I really like his take on them by making them look super foreign, they don't look like they were made in Skyrim. Real Moonstone Elven Armour and Weapons has a place in my heart, it looks like moonstone bars you can use and I think that is unique and interesting. It did look a bit odd at first but it has grown on me.
I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love your videos (and mod list). I keep coming back to your videos everytime I'm revamping my load order and textures, and this is coming from someone who is just starting to get into Skyrim modding. Thank you for the creative inspirations, and thank you for such wonderful videos!
14:35 Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks that, I like realistic armor but to be honest I like them more when they are realistic but still retaining the original concept of the armor
Some of these mods make the armors look almost like ones from MonsterHunter, which imo has some of the best armor design 🤔 I really enjoy the details and shading on these mods.
For imperial armours, I prefer "Perfect Legionary". This new armor design also makes more sense in the cold lands of Skyrim, and in my opinion looks way cooler than the original.
i always enjoyed the fur armor, it's one of the few armors that let you go around bare chested, but i've always used the skimpiest version since the cape looked a bit awkward even back in 2011. now it's got a good shampoo treatment with this lovely mod. I grew up with the GameCube, i looked at oblivion and thought "damn, that's a lot of graphics" i hardly bother with graphic mods, but that fur fluff is just so damn tempting.
Heh, it sounds like the fur is right up your alley then! I think it's an amazing mod and won't leave my modlist, so do indulge, I promise it's worth it!

For Dragon Priest armor, I'd recommend DragonPriest Retexture - SE by PraedythXVI. It retextures all of the robes, the masks, the weapons, and the NPCs themselves.
Your list almost matches my active list. But I also love the Resurgence series by IconicDeath. I think it's worth mix and matching some of the Resurgence series in.

The horror of being a noob modder is when every mod require a mod that require another mod, looks like the fur shader mood need me to get a new female body mod and now I don't know if it will break other clothing mods. Thanks for showing off all these cool armors.
Another fine showcase presented here, it decided for me to choose a few mods that I had looked at before when they first hit the Nexus, but I made the choice to not download them then. I'm not a 'glowy-boy' but I did like the cut of the glowing ebony armor, so I've downloaded that one (non-glowy-version), and since I'm an Imperial, I went with the Imperial overhaul, and the Elven re-textures look great, but I, nor my followers, will ever use them, but it will make the npc's look better. Most of the vanilla armors were awful from the start as far as the textures Bethesda used, but I'm sure they had to go that route because of the varying differences in system performance/platform limitations the end-user might endure. Not everybody owns a super-computer capable of whatever limit graphics cards can handle for stability and framerates, nor can console players afford the space needed to use higher levels of textures, hence the modders stepped up. As far as what vanilla NPC's wear I really don't care that much how it looks, but for my character and followers/companions I do, because I have to look at them the most.
So I tried to find some alternatives to xavbio's mods, as I didn't exactly like certain details they add or remove from vanilla designs, and how all of their retextures are darker than vanilla, especially didn't like how orcish retexture makes it loose the green tint, making it look as if it's made from steel, so I wanted to find something more Vanilla-like. Didn't really find anything aside from a texture pack called "aMidianBorn Book of Silence SE" (good luck finding it if you don't know how it's called, lol) Well, after installing it I've noticed that most textures in this pack are xavbio's, except that this pack doesn't include glass and elvish weapons that standalone mods contain, last time this mod pack has been updated is in 2020, while xavbio only started uploading standalone packs this year, so i guess that explains how they've been putting out so much so quickly. I guess I'll have to settle for their retextures, =( Game is sooo old, really strange that there's so few retextures, maybe I just can't find them, nexus search engine is really not all that usefull. Looking at it further Some of those texture are from Oldrim days, ebony armor textures, for example, were first uploaded as far back as 2013, seems like aMidianBorn is xavbio's previous nickname. Strange that someone else have always been uploading for them.
At the moment I've fallen all the way back to Project Clarity for armors. I don't need extra artistic vision (which tends to darken and remove distinctive colors) I just need the blurriness removed.
BCG: "We are steering away from large texture packs." Also BCG 30 seconds later: "R U S T I C C L O T H I N G" I know the implication was modding aspects of armor one by one instead of an all encompassing overhaul, but the wording was kind of funny. x) The highlight for me here is Fur Shader Armors, can't believe I hadn't found that mod before and it matches Fluffworks perfectly! The rest, I'm happy (and surprised) to say this time I had most of them already! Really like how most enhance the vanilla look instead of completely replacing it, with the exception of Sons of Skyrim of course, that one is just pure immersion.
Ahahah, I didn't think of that... Yes, and Xavbio's also going to have the mods in a large AIO, so yes, the video's going to be full of large texture packs. Oh well! Fur Shader Armors is truly a gem, so happy you found it!
See I enjoy seeing all these retextures. I do not enjoy downloading every single piece of armor. I personally do not download piece by piece until it's an AIO or very close. Personal opinion of course.

Hey I am new in Skyrim so can you tell me If I mod the graphics of the game and make it ultra realistic then this modded textures of armours will look much better than shown in the video? Please Reply I am watching your videos and really enjoying 👍
for nightingale armor theres a mod called "foxy nightingale armor" and it looks insane quality, I tried frankly's HD but it still looked blurry even at 4k.
Staying away from large texture packs. I guess that would include Cathedral Armory but I would still say at least the pictures look good. Granted I haven't seen it in game because I'm building my mod list but just about done.
And if I had 16 GB of VRAM instead of 8 I would probably use a bunch of cathedral stuff, like their weather and seasons with landscapes combined. Cathedral series in generally looks really well done.
That was the armors and weapons reskin mod I was looking for! c:< Bandit armors are so fluffy and the nightingale armor is perfect now. Sorry, but light armors are the best. However, I must admit that the daedric armor is... OOF (I think i used it a long time ago playing an edgy death knigth character) xDD
I really like your Skyrim and the way you stage it :) I have a technical question. could you create a guide, How To install BHUNP Body Physiks :D lovely Greets to Finland, from Germany ;)
Danke schön! I'm sorry, but I'm not one for technical tutorials, and surely would get something wrong 😬 but good luck with that, I hope you'll get it working!
Hello, may i ask here if i need to use an ENB for Rudy HQ - More lights for ENB SE - Daedric Weapons and Armor ? I am still scared that an ENB would burn my graphic card. In the option of the Fomod there is the glow option but also lights, so i wonder if the glow will work without ENB. Also Xavbio retextures ROCKS ! If an AiO is to come, Book of Silence will be absolete since it doesn't cover the CC armors. His retextures on Immersive Armors are damn good too. Anyway, these videos really help me modding my Skyrim, i wish you well !
+1 like and subscribe with bell, this is the first video I'm watching in your channel and look forward to see more. Really liked the ideia of this series and hope you continue this project, I always wanted a good compendium of textures to follow when modding my game and I really think I found it. Might there be a video on player/character overhauling in the cards? I find that process a bit tricky when it comes to eliminating wrist and ankle seams, and I'm interested in how you go about that.
My favorite must be the robes and normal everyday clothes. Those have always looked kinda bland and 2d, with these mods they are looking better than ever!
Ive tried for fur armors your combination, and gloves looks exactly like yours but skirts just stay default , ive been baning my head around and changin mod rules but nothing seems to fix it :C
ok, who do I have to beg....Rustic Clothing has never come to Xbox, nor has Fur shaders (which look phenomanal by the way), although I have read something new coming out called Divine Clothing, i've been using Vaultman's 2k clothing style, but I'm open to reviewing Rustic clothing, and fur shaders. Any way it can get ported to console? Or does Xavbio's retextures include fur and leather retexture?
So I tried the wolf armor retexture, fur mod, and sleek wolf armor in that order but sleek won't load for the companions. Is it only for the craftable player armor? Mod page says its a remesh, but includes no textures.

And if I had 16 GB of VRAM instead of 8 I would probably use a bunch of cathedral stuff, like their weather and seasons with landscapes combined. Cathedral series in generally looks really well done.
That was the armors and weapons reskin mod I was looking for! c:<
Bandit armors are so fluffy and the nightingale armor is perfect now. Sorry, but light armors are the best. However, I must admit that the daedric armor is... OOF (I think i used it a long time ago playing an edgy death knigth character) xDD
Hahah yes I mean an edgy death knight sounds fun though :D happy you've found some useful mods for yourself!
Still stuck on BookOfUUNP (normal version, not the lewd one).
Never seen better Iron Armor Ornaments anywhere else..
These mods look tempting tho 😅
The mods will wait for you when you're ready 😏
Great video,thank you❤
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
sick video!
tyyy 👉😎👉
Finally a armour review thats not a exploded boobs and buts in womans character, tks!!
Nightingale armor is the best one.
A fine opinion! 🤠👌
@@BardsCollegeGraduate That is okay ;) I will try my best :D
I always remove the nightingale cape, the set looks better with a flowy cape not the static vanilla one
You know what, that's actually solid reasoning :D
Thank you very much!
Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to write up this comment, I'm so glad! Thanks for watching, and welcome aboard 💚
What kind of animation mods do you happen to use ? Or do you prefer vanilla animations?
SonderBrain's! www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/140700623?tab=user+files
Might there be a video on player/character overhauling in the cards? I find that process a bit tricky when it comes to eliminating wrist and ankle seams, and I'm interested in how you go about that.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm definitely not an expert on character creation, so at this time, probably not. 😩 But it's not completely ruled out!
Awesome video
Thanks so much! Had fun making it :D
Babe wakeup, new Bards College Graduate video just dropped. Great content, what mod is that fluffy male hair from at 10:57 ?
Hehe thank you! It's from the dint999 hairpack02 💚
What’s the retexture mod on the forsworn woman (2:48) tattoos, feather and hair it looks great.
My favorite must be the robes and normal everyday clothes. Those have always looked kinda bland and 2d, with these mods they are looking better than ever!
I carry a pocket knife and I seriously consider carrying one of those retextured daggers, if only they were a little smaller.
Great video
Thank you!
I need your NPC overhauls they look better than mine😭
Hey, check out my modlist, all should be in there 🤠👌
@@BardsCollegeGraduate THANK YOU!!!
Ive tried for fur armors your combination, and gloves looks exactly like yours but skirts just stay default , ive been baning my head around and changin mod rules but nothing seems to fix it :C
your swords look like paddles.
Would highly recommend LeanWolf's Better Shaped Weapons
Heh yeee I've been looking into that but not sure about all the compatibilities
ok, who do I have to beg....Rustic Clothing has never come to Xbox, nor has Fur shaders (which look phenomanal by the way), although I have read something new coming out called Divine Clothing, i've been using Vaultman's 2k clothing style, but I'm open to reviewing Rustic clothing, and fur shaders. Any way it can get ported to console? Or does Xavbio's retextures include fur and leather retexture?
In nordwar we trust
I personally prefer realistic armor and weapons, but a nice video nonetheless. :)
Of course! Thank you so much 🙏
Sadly Findung Kind of realistic Armor mods for late Game armors is a pain
you are a 10/10!
No, u!
@@BardsCollegeGraduate Noo, U!
Those re-textures make me want to use vanilla armors 😢
XD it's okay!
So I tried the wolf armor retexture, fur mod, and sleek wolf armor in that order but sleek won't load for the companions. Is it only for the craftable player armor?
Mod page says its a remesh, but includes no textures.
Yeah... Sence the mod menu is updated, I don't have to worry about the download limits
