    Tbh I wanna drive it but I’m not even 18, by the time I turn 18 they will have automatic trains

      Depends on the tracks. You need to have them completely separated from other traffic in order to have automatic trains (e.g. Montréal REM).

      @@Davmm96 but still over 80% of all rail traffic in the world is man operated. And most places it won’t go automatic for a very long time!

      So what this piece is not telling us is go are firing employees for refusing the jab and hence why there are openings.......got it!!!

      Got my first this week, got sick they wouldn’t let me leave alone without a ride. Got the ride home recovered in 6 hours and I’m fine. You might as well just get it now.

    Years of riding the GO train with the suspicion that they put the train in gear before releasing the brake looks to be confirm here. I'm sure I can come up with a few reasons as to why they do this, but whatever those reasons are, they aren't substantial enough to justify the need to do that in my opinion. It's just so inefficient.

      Ever consider that they were just climbing onto the locomotive? IE, it wasn't in service and just idling in the yard? And even if you did center the reverser every time you stopped, it's not doing anything that kills time.

      Okay, so you clearly not an Engineer. You must do that to ensure the train does not roll back.

      ​@@wildmm9564 To be an engineer you have to accomplish college or university, in this case - locomotive driver.

      @@nemonemo6366 I am unsure of where you get your information but I am a Locomotive Engineer Trainee with Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway and I had no pre requirements besides 12th grade diploma!

      If you can pass the signal exam. You can run one of these trains. It’s easy. You should apply
