GREAT PROOF !!! ... TY for this video, very illuminating! ... Question: how deep would you think the bottom of the Olla Pot should be for Tomatoes, Hot Pepper, and whatever plants you planted? ... 40 cms or more? I think that could be the last piece of the puzzle to experiment further. TY again, Peace.
Wondering if you supplement watered with a hose etc or the only other water was rain? Would have loved to see an update of the tomato plants grown using this method, and I think it'd be great for strawberries as they're pretty thirsty. We have a similar climate here in summer.
I love it when I see something and it blows my mind, I had no idea that these existed.
@Zavier Lyric do you use mulching?

Perfect time for this video, was thinking of a self watering system for my garden bed. Looks like I’m going to bunnings 😂😂
those roots look like coconut coir. Could they be repurposed or beneficial in a potting mix?
Ohhhh u did a video on them, now what if we add gravity fed nutrient?
Have you done a video with these in hydroponics?

Yeah I topped it up with a hose or watering can.
I’ll plant some more next season and do some updates 😊
@@Hoocho sorry, I meant other than filling up the ollas or it raining. Like did you ever feel the need to use sprinklers etc 🙂
@@treenstreen good to see he never answered his questions and it not a new thing he a useless youtuber !
@@Philmoon69 yeh I don't believe there was no other supplement watering
I grow organically. Does the sealant or putty leach into the water?
Does the ollas need terracotta or other material of pot like pvc will do
Hello have a nice day! How many cm under the soil they had to be? And do you use Heavy mulching?
Have you thought about putting hydroponic nutrient in them
How long does the water of a a full olla pot last?
Man thanks for the great video ,The root system the engine
Sorry I should have waited until the end of the video
Excuse my ignorance, what’s the benefit? Is it so you can go on holiday or something?
Uses way less water and allows the plants to soak up water when they need and not have to depend on someone watering them
Arabs using this way since 700 years
