I hate the constant panick attacks...Can i ask you a question? I have C-PTSD, borderline, anxiety...depression at times. And I have been made to feel all alone as a child ontop of being fairly disconnected...but then spent my adult life extremely disconnected without any family at all...and no natural support system at all. So, the question is...I have had a lifetime of imagining having conversations with people. Its constant and doesnt ever stop unless i am intensley engaged, like at work. It used to be more elaborative in those imagined scenarios and conversations...more like maladaptive daydreaming...but now at age 48...its more chronic imagined conversations and accompanied scenarios. My mbti is infp, btw. Anyway, its not ever going to go away. But its frustrating because i have severely impaired attention. And im so hyper aware of it and feel like im crazy because of it. Always having imagined conversations. And im always having chronic anxiety...and the imaginings seem to perpetuate this. My question is...about some of the common themes of these imaginings. I.e., wanting to be liked, wanting approval, wanting to be special in some way. My question is do you think a lifetime of this is a result of being rejected and bullied and neglected? What do i do about it? Is there a way to remind myself and fulfill my own need? Do you think its possible to overcone this after a lifetime? Btw i am utterly exhausted. Also i cant tell my whole story here... but i have literally been through a nightmare a decade ago....invalidated if i try to talk about it. It was traumatic and i have suffered severe paranoia ever since all these years. Severe. And too bad that other professionals arent like you, sadly i had horrible experiences with the system and professionals and they greatly damaged my self esteem. I wish i could see you!
