Very nice job , I particularly appreciate your dedication and precision on your preshading process
My experience with these decals is to wait 24h and removing slowly with cotton bud and just a bit of turpentine ( but it’s tricky sometimes :)

Thank you! I'll try that next time. I'm always worried that I'll mess up the model :D

Great craftsmanship on this. Whilst Eduard call out for H58, AK Real Colors RC206 or Mr Color C126 Mitsubishi Interior Green is correct and would have been a closer match for the Eduard pre painted photo etch too. I don’t know why Eduard didn’t suggest C126 in their instructions, given that they are already calling out some of their other colours in the instruction sheet.
Regardless of this it’s a great pre Pearl Harbor Zero you have made. Thank you for sharing with us. Keep up the great work.

Thank you very much! That's right, H58 is definitely way too bright. For my next zero I have already ordered ak real colors for the cockpit.

Very nice work. I do have a question, was the carrier film of the decals not removable? As with so many kits from Eduard these days.

Thank you. The foil is removable from the decals, but I've had bad experience with it on another model and the whole decal came off with it. That's why I left the carrier film on the decal this time.

@@OlleyScaleWorldI've got the tora tora tora, one in the stash, and as for the decals I leave the carrier film on (I've done a few of the eduard spitfires) and never had a problem with the decals

I also have a Spitfire that I will build in the near future, then I will try remove the decal film.
