If you could go into a deep dive comparison of both A LSY and A SY it would be greatly appreciated. I can't speak for everyone but those two are whom I myself am mostly saving Black tickets for and, despite planning to get both eventually with reruns, It's hard to tell which one would be the most immediate value for content like Shadow Palace, Danger Close, ect.
personally, for PVE id say A Seo Yoon brings more to the table compared to ALSY. Shes on the same tier as Yuna PVE wise (S++ tier). ALSY deals almost the same damage as Rosaria IMO and therefore you wont miss much not having her on PVE if you have Rosa/Lyud.
ALSY however, is VERY good on PVP. Shes still used even on KR server to this day to the point she is permabanned on most weeks, which says alot, compared to Yuna or A Seo Yoon which have fallen off the KR meta a bit.
If you dont care abt PVP and can only get 1 between those two, I'd say A Seo Yoon
would be the better choice, she can trivialize most PVE content provided Awakened unit isn't banned.

SEA player here. I'm gonna lean heavily on ASY. Till this day, I still use her in PVE and PVP. I benched LSY for a long time and she only seen use when A. Horizon came. Her only niche is she can 1 shot A.Horizon if you put Shadow Hall gears on her. Sure LSY is good in guild raid against the left side air units but if you have Yuna, she can still solo cover that side. There's no particular PVE stage that LSY is a must have. Plus when LSY first released, she was easily shutdown by Karin Wong. So TLDR, go for ASY if you have limited black tickets. But if Ministra came before ASY rerun, go for Ministra.

Had to pity A. Yuna which completely drained my black tickets. I could just spend them to build pity and probably get ALSY in the process. Such is the problem with accelerated schedule. You can never save enough currency but they do rerun in the future which is a relief.

ASY still useful in both PVE and PVP (heal reflux is painful)
ALSY has niche PVP use but extremely powerful when the matchup is right. She could one hit A. Horizon with the right gear setup
I really wanted na yubin
Almost 3 days playing the game. I rerolled for awakened Yuna, and she's great. But on the 30th begginners pulls i wanted to get Gaeun and Evelyn, but i ended up with Elizabeth and no Evelyn =/. I'm not even using Elizabeth. I rolled Gaeun so many times through the 30th ten pulls, but i wanted Gaeun + Evelyn, but since i allready had awakened Yuna i kept the account.
i wont even try Lee Sooyeon.
Welcome to the game. And wise choice to kept the account. You can farm Evelyn shards to get her. For Gaeun, hopefully you would get lucky and get her offbanner someday soon.

@@trendmadegamer8725 I explained it wrong. I got Gaeun a lot of times on the selected pulls, but i kept rolling coz i wanted Gaeun + Evelyn. On the 30th time i ended up with Elizabeth and no Evelyn, but since i had awakened yuna, i kept the account. On the begginners pulls that you get an SSR hitting pity on the 30th single pull, i got Nanahara Chinatsu (not using her on the main team either, and yea, i had to hit pity to get her -.-). And the next SSR i got is ATAC-130 Gunship (i know it have potential for the future, but right now is pretty useless to me). I hope i get Gaeun on the SSR i'll get finishing the Mentee missions.
@@marcelobenattoferreira2998 He means there is a SSR selector ticket that you get eventually while playing the game. That ticket has Gaeun.

I have played sea version since day 1 ... if anyone global player is interested in knowing if skipping lsy is a big deal or nah , lemme tell you .. its not .. you may struggle just a bit in some pve stage but its not end of the world ... imo you should save tickets to pull seo yoon ... that character is game changer in so many stages and pvp its unbelievable .. hilde , yuna and seo yoon is god tier awakened characters that you MUST have

after seo yoon .. the MUST you need is ministra .. nayub , replacer queen and replacer king are good to have but ministra is on another lvl

Question to all of you who have some knowhow on buying packs; atm I have enough to go to pity for A LSY but then I'll be at 0 for A Yubin. If I'd like to pull for A yubin when he comes out, what packages would you buy since most of them have weekly limits?
Depending on your luck, it can range from not needing to buy anything to buying some expensive packs. But based on the timing, you will have about 44 days to get enough tickets for Na Yubin. So to do a quick calculation, you will have:
44x4(Daily missions) = 176
6x20(Weekly Missions) = 120
80(PvP Exchange shop) = 80 (maybe 160 is you save everything for the next reset)
2x20(20 tickets are given out everytime a new awakened releases from their event missions, 2 for ALSY & Na Yubin) = 40
1x40(Login Caleder)=40
6x220(Considering you can buy the quartz pack every week for the next 6 weeks)=1320
Total = 1776-1856 Tickets i.e. 88-92 pulls
With average luck this is enough for the new unit, but I went 148 for Serapel. So I will give a recommendation. Some packs refresh everytime a new awakened unit releases. Others refresh weekly. So you will have 3 opportunities to get special packs for character releases, during the Yuna banner, ALSY banner and Na Yubin banner and 6 opportunities to get the weekly packs.
Character release packs:
Cheapest option gets you 450 tickets (Buy the pack which gives 150 tickets 3 times): Takes your pulls to 111-115
Middle option gets you 1110 tickets (Buy the pack which gives 370 tickets 3 times): Takes your pulls to 144-148
Expensive Option gets you 1220 tickets (Buy the pack which gives 610 tickets 2 times): Takes your pulls to 150+
The weekly bundles are just worse value compared to character release packs. So its not worth your money unless you are trying to get just some extra pulls before the banner ends. Buy them if absolutely necessary. Middle option and Expensive option guarantee the new unit basically. But it is very unlikely you will have to go till 150 pulls for both Na Yubin and ALSY. Personal recommendation: get the cheap packs and hope you don't get shafted in both banners.
@@yashtandon7460 Thank you very much!! Yeah I noticed the character packs have an average value of 9.4 or 9.8 tickets per currency while the regular ones have 10+ cost. But I wasnt sure if I was doing calculations right. Thank you very much for this detailed info man.
@@blkwng Its not just the tickets I am considering. Buying the character packs give quartz which can ensure you are able to buy the 2750 quartz pack for tickets more consistently.
The game is kinda stingy with quartz. Once we get out the the new game phase(After the 100 day event), we will not be able to buy the 2750 quartz pack weekly. It will change to once a month pack then.
Have you calculated if you can buy the quartz packs for the next 6 weeks? Takes dailies, weeklies, pvp and logins etc into consideration. Do not consider future events as we don't know if they will give quartz. If they do, it is an added bonus.
I can buy it for the next 6 weeks if I buy some of the character packs. That's why I have written the line "Considering you can buy the quartz pack every week for the next 6 weeks".
@@yashtandon7460 Hadn't considered no; i have enough to buy 2 more weeks, and with weeklies and dailies maybe push to a third. But my main worry was that I wanted to splurge a bit on A yubin but not go broke feel me lol. So I was concerned if I needed to buy extra packages since today just to reach the amount by the time he comes out. I'm hoping to keep under 150 bucks if in lucky.
Also, do single pulls. At least on awakened banners. It's tedious but might save you 180 black tix

I have only awakened Hilde. I’m right at pity, 140/150, should I pull for awakened Yuna, or awakened Lee Sooyeon?
Same I'm a few rolls away from pity don't know if I should pity as well or wait for lee
I played on SEA and went for Mommy LSY and till this day never get a hold of A.Yuna. Still manage to clear all content in the game. She is very useful in PVE
I would recommend A Yuna if you're more of a PVE player and A Lee Sooyeon if you're more of a PVP player. They both perform pretty well in both types of content, but if you really want to capitalize on their strengths, that's how I would categorize them.

Put briefly, if you hate barriers, go for A. Na Yubin. If you hate air units, go for A. Lee Sooyeon.
