My favorite card makes a return, and I feel it.
I feel all these things but can I feel the sweet embrace of victory? Keep watching to find out ;)

Even though, yes, Sec Con is disgusting, I do love ShadowSeraphi. I threw him in a Black Blocker deck to give him Blocker and Reboot. The despair in peoples eyes when they realize they can't block him or he dies, but then he reboots and now they can't attack or he'll block and die. It's so funny.
Those matches were BRUTAL, though. Flipping seven Chaos Degs? Unheard of. I'm sorry you died in real life because of this set.

I actually really like Shadow Seraphimon! Even if in sec con he's a literal devil the splash of black means we can get some cool decks like your black blocker in rotation 😍
I got second hand infuriation. Kept my own eyeroll count and it was around 15. God I hate sec con. Love the blue hybrid pick tho, looks pretty fun
It can be painful, one of my favorite matches was playing Commandramon against security control. We hit a stalemate but I found an infinite loop to stop myself from decking out 😎 But the games always go to time and leave my brain throbbing haha
Definitely a rough match up with not too many immediate answers to the shadow seraphimon. Loving the videos as always man, keep up the awesome work ✌🏻

Just a heads up. Shadowseraphimons effect has 2 different timings. When a card is removed from security its still revealed but if it's a digimon shadowseraphimons effect will de-digivolve something first then battle BUT if it's an option the option will take priority before shadowseraphimons de-digivolve effect

1 Death X would have ruined me. Multiple times. 😱
Lucky that with War Greymon causing players pain, death X isn't being run that much anymore 😅

The deck can be a bit bricky and WarGrey is just painful but its still a lot of fun 😁

@@TheSqueakyMoose I love the new blackseraphimon but I've honestly never even considered the idea of having more than one on the field at a time. That's just degenerate behavior and it's not acceptable and it should not be tolerated. 🤣
Hey, what do you think about DarkKnightmon? Do you have any suggestions and tips about how to play well with the deck. I'm making one as my 1st deck in the game, so anything will help me a lot. I am playing it as a budget deck.
I love DarkKnightmon and it does really well in metas or locals with a lot of deletion based decks since they have that in built protection. You can build the deck with mostly new parts which won’t cost you much but older cards might be a bit harder to come by.
As with every deck in digimon the best way to play well is to know your matchups. Sometimes you’ll want to hold onto your dark knights for a turn to be able to de-digivolve a turn later than you think. Never underestimate the power of blockers and setting up your stacks to be able to play blockers for free. That will save you games!
I might make a deck profile for it since it is a really fun deck to play. You’ve got me all hyped up for some dark knight fun! 😁😁😁

hey I have a qestion I was building a black hybrid deck and I might be reading the cards wrong but ancientwisemon with waltz end seems like a broken combo could you comfirm or not?
Hi, if you're inferring that A.wisemon can use it's "Opponent's turn" reveal effect on the option card from deck and play it it can't. It has a "cost" not a "play cost"
UltraGreatsword is right that you can't play it with Ancientwise BUT I think think it makes the deck far more viable.
If you can force them to attack with something while you have waltz end active on Ancient wise then that's a great turn! 😁
@@TheSqueakyMoose yeah Once ultragreatsword told me I ran less waltz end but still some to combo with sephirothmon to wipe a board

Shadow sera is after the security check. So you lose the check you are deleted not dedigivolved.
Should have closed out game 2 much quicker.
Also idk if this sec con player is new or what but definitely some rough gameplay as a sec con main myself.
Bunch of times he just didnt atk with his digimon to clear the board and then there is a time in game 3 where he plays a magna and draws 1 instead of recovering then just puts it in security real quick lol. That hurt my soul.
Do we have a confirmation on the timing in an faq or anything? I thought the rulings were that effects occur before the battle of security digimon. That is a big deal for the match as we definitely would have seen my digis getting deleted a lot!
Yeah we were an hour or more into the match at the point, he went to recover and just drew it accidentally. Definitely not our finest hour but we had that mental fatigue by the end of it 🫠😵💫
@TheSqueakyMoose no, the ruling is that effects IN SECURITY happen before combat. Effects that trigger when a card is removed from security happen after the combat. See the rulebook chart for attack timing for reference.
Edit: actually just to be sure u figured I'd look up Q&A.
There isn't a ruling on this for dark sera but I looked up wargreymon Xanti wich has a remove from security trigger effect and DOES have a Q&A. For it they say that it triggers after security effects but also BEFORE the battle. So assuming they are the same I was actually incorrect and you played it out properly. My apologies.

The fact that you had to go back to a different card to find the ruling just shows that it can be very convoluted. I’m just glad you found the ruling so we can all be on the same page. Always call me out if you see a misplay or something wrong, I want to show case the game and I can’t do that without accountability and doing things right! 😁

I generally put them in the description so that way you can load it up through deck dev :) I don’t always have the time to get the lists before the video goes out but if I ever do I’ll try to put them in 😁

So the full list is now in the description but I run 3 Magna and 2 Kuzuha. Still thinking if those ratios are correct because Kuzuha is really good 👌
When I see a sec con player at local, all I think of them is this:
"I'm here to annoy everyone else to hide the fact I'm bad at the game"

I legit call a friend of mine cringe for playing Sec Con.
Sec con is pretty cringe but it does off set some really annoying decks in the meta.
That being said it also offsets decks that aren't in the meta...
I'd prefer if it only hit the good stuff and left my jank alone haha 😅

I would think that your Security would have a hard limit. (number of cards that can be in it.)
Nope. I played D-Brigade against Sec Con once and he went into an Ordinemon, gaining 5 Security at once. I thoroughly despise Sec Con.
If they add a hard limit to security they would potentially have to add a hard limit to other things like security +
Security control is pretty much the only deck that can go mad like this so its alright. It just hurts to go up against 😂💀

so this game should of ended a lot quicker. You were supposed to trash the top of your security when ever he hit you with Chaos Degradation. I was wondering why your security stack was so big. Might of just been fatigue from the long game.
only when it's played It's security effect doesn't trash.
THats chaos effect when played from hand, from sec it only sends the digi to the secuirty.
I play Sec Con because I was tired of being swung at security just leisurely and nothing happened. My other decks, the cards were not substantial enough to withstand gameplay. So I can sit back, play a card or two and watch the opponent go into time because that’s what loses them the game.
As a Green main until we had Gran Del Sol my security always felt like wet spaghetti 😂
That's why its nice playing black, so many different security bombs 😁

so funny joke i started playing digimon no long time a go and i started playing tcg whit magic like 6 years ago or so and i play control when a star a digi i didnt know what to play but a friend said to me that the starterd deck and i star whit the mastemon deck but a didnt knw that mastemon was control and for joke a friend told me that i build a security control and he start bothering me whit that so much that now i wanna make one just for him so can i have the list?

I'll agree with this in part.
I think that the deck should exist to counter act some of the meta BUT every game generally goes to time which is bad for tournaments. If it filled a similar role but was faster then I think it would be better for the game. That being said it has still caused me great pain 😂🤕
