Great video! We have been focusing to stay in Hyatt brand in the past two years, it is nice to learn more about the brand. Looking forward for more Hyatt hotel reviews! Thank you!
I love Hyatt hotels. Been lucky enough to stay in lots of them .Favourites include Andaz in Dubai and London . Also Hotel Martinez in Cannes, in the Unbound collection. The old Scotland Yard police HQ in London has also been converted and added to Unbound collection but not stayed there yet. Rooms starting at around £400 a night for those interested.
Thank you so much for your informative videos. I didn’t know too much about the Hyatt chain until I passed by the SFO airport’s Grand Hyatt while on the AirTrain. Haven’t stayed there but it looks nice.
Thankyou Chris for showing me all the Hyatt information, it was very informative and interesting to me. I am glad they are doing so well and popular.(From Lori Boyd in the forest city of London,Ontario,Canada)
I just stayed at one of the UrCove, it’s super cheap (40-50 bucks for a night) and well-maintained (comparable to many of the Hyatt Centric). So definitely great places to get some snp.
Hyatt Zivas are absolutely amazing for families, lots of amenities for all to enjoy. The kids club is nice once your kid turns 3. Algo makes for a great points redemption as rates usually average 20K points per night with cash rates usually $500-1000. If you're playing the brand explorer game and looking for a family friendly property in socal, highly recommend the Seabird in Oceanside, part of the Destination brand. Great breakfast and upgrade opportunities if you're Globalist, they also offer sitter services during the week and it's located right across a kids playground on the ocean. Right across the street, their sister property, Mission Pacific is part of JDV, easy way to score two brands.
I will be staying at a hyatt property for the first time ever at the end of the month (Hyatt Regency). Have stayed at Hiltons and Mariotts before but I agree Hiltons have gone down hill and good Marriotts have gotten a lot more expensive. I hope it will be a good experience
Thanks for the very informative video! I just came back from staying at Hyatt Regency Orange County while going to Disneyland. They have a shuttle that allows us to ride to Disneyland 5x back and forth. It ends at 1am. When we ask, the front desk would give us free new slippers and other toiletries we need. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Being a member allowed us to get a microwave and water boiler in our room for free. Otherwise it’s like $10 each day for a microwave
How many brands have you been to, Chris? They have the "brand explorer" promotion - have you had your two free nights through that yet? I'm working on hitting my 10th hyatt brand sometime this year!
Best to fly to EWR then take path to jersey city. Hyatt regency in Jersey City is also nice. Yea EWR has the best public transportation NYC wise. JFK is a distant second. Great video, learned a lot thank you.
In India most Hyatt regencies are located just connected to top shopping malls, like Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Amritsar. The one in Chandigarh is comparable to Ritz Carlton in terms of service and vibe.
I actually learned quite a bit from this. Thanks, Chris! It's funny you mentioned that Hyatt Centric in Arlington. I was struggling with which hotels in Rosslyn to recommend because they all seem pretty meh. I wound up putting that one on my list. Rosslyn isn't the best place to stay IMO but I know some people prefer the suburbs over the city.
Yeah. The hotel in Rosslyn are all pretty meh. Of the meh my favorite is the Residence Inn Rosslyn. But just one metro up is the Hyatt Place Courthouse. That's one I actually would recommend :)
Hyatt Regency is a convention hotel but only 65% of Hyatt Regency have a lounge in the US. However, Grand Hyatts all have Grand Lounge which is a better elevated hotel. Does the Hyatt Regency Vancouver have a club lounge?
Infortaining, but why is there isn’t even one Hyatt, Grand or otherwise in Asia??? And any mention of the world famous Hainan Chicken Rice served at the Grand Cafe at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and where I will be having lunch tomorrow. Will be happy to buy you lunch there the next time you’re here.
I know this is an older video and you get tons of comments, but if you happen to see this in the next couple of weeks, are you familiar with the Hyatt Regency in Austin, TX? Can a customer request a complimentary toothbrush, floss etc.?
Hi Observatinist.. I'm not familiar with that particular location. But yes. Most Hyatt Regencies generally have quite a few free amenities you can request
@@YellowProductions Thank you Chris. I appreciate the info. I like to travel light with only a backpack so space is a premium. I’ll go watch all your Austin, TX videos. I really enjoy your content.
It's no longer a complete guide as 7 new brands from the "All Inclusive" collection have just been added. There are now 26 Hyatt brands total available, time to refresh the video? 😁
Could you tell me what the difference is between a Hyatt House and Hyatt Regency? Going to stay a one or the other for a honeymoon and they’re the same price
Hyatt Regency's are typically big full service hotels with restaurants, room service, etc. Breakfast isn't typically included. Hyatt House is an "extended stay" brand so more of a "homey" feel with free breakfast and very little service
Non-luxury Hyatt hotels are owned by independent owners/operators who pay Hyatt (the company) for licensing. Only the five stars Hyatt hotels are actually owned and operated by Hyatt itself. That's why the standards of service are different.
@@YellowProductions: Chris, after all these years I know you well enough to know you had absolutely nothing to do with it. I never doubted you my friend; you are a person of integrity and exceptional character. Besides, and as usual my comment was not only supportive but also completely benign and in good taste. So it couldn’t have possibly offended anyone! The UA-cam censorship algorithm has a mind of its own!

Glad you had a good stay at the Hyatt in the OC
My last hotel stay was at the Hyatt House Anaheim.

I've only stayed in 9. Just one more to go for 10 as well!

I have stayed at Olive 8. It's nice.

i stayed at the one in bali. i think it was really nice and the pool was amazing. this was years ago.
You mentioned beachfront Hyatt Regency properties and these seem to cater to family travelers too. Aruba, Cartagena and Phuket come to mind.
Do this for marriott/Hilton too!
Ok Dillon :)
Do IHG, Hilton and Marriott next
Thanks Jefferson... Marriott is next up!
The Andaz’s breakfast buffet is unbelievable. We ate there every morning and pretty much just skipped lunch.
Mmmmm
Hi from Perth Australia we only have a Hyatt hotel only here are five stars
I like Hyatt place the best of all hyatt properties.
Hyatt Regency is a convention hotel but only 65% of Hyatt Regency have a lounge in the US. However, Grand Hyatts all have Grand Lounge which is a better elevated hotel. Does the Hyatt Regency Vancouver have a club lounge?
Supposedly Vancouver does.. but it wasn't open when I was there. So I'm not sure whether it ever reopened
Great Job!
Thanks World Traveler ;)
Sorry I missed you live but I was at Flogging Molly concert 🎶
Flogging Molly sucks!
How was the concert?
@@YellowProductions Flogging Molly always puts on a high energy show, everyone is dancing to the music!
I think you missed one. Hyatt acquired Welk resorts & renamed the 8 locations to HVC Hyatt Vacation Club.
18:58 I believe Bilt Rewards And Chase as far as transfer partners of Hyatt…
Can Hilton be next??
In my opinion, Hyatt hotels are much better than Hilton hotels.
Remember the Sony ZV1 Giveaway?
Indeed!

There is now a 20th and 21th brand of Hyatt as they purchased Dreams and Secrets
Do you know any of the Hyatt family personally, and have you met them.(From Lori Boyd in the forest city of London,Ontario,Canada)
Not yet Lori!
Did you hear that Hyatt will be taking over the Rio in Las Vegas
Watching from Arizona. It’s 109 degrees.
Ooof
Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. Check it out.

How dare Hyatt!! grr :)
Where's the Hyatt Regency bro ?? You didn't give the timestamp for that
Never seen stayed at a Hyatt
Alila Diwa in Goa is one of the best. You should do a hotel tour of India and compare different brands compared to their global counterpart.
bein a Hotel Inspector and Globalist i have to say HYATTs have gone DOWN in the last two years ... some are beyond acceptable !
were u in coma past 2 years ?
The pandemic says hello...
Which Hotel Chains do you prefer?
Park definitely not worth $700.
Hyatt place rooms look better than the $700 rooms!
Stay at the new THE SEABIRD Praxiteles community but work with them they are new

Hyatt customer service phone number rarely answers. Customer service is horrible. The point system is horrendous.
