    Edufi seems like a game-changer, especially in the medical education sector. The high costs of education, around 15-16 lacs, can be a significant burden for many families. Edufi's approach could indeed be a lifeline for those who want to provide quality education for their children without resorting to bank loans.

  • @incomecoders
    @incomecoders 6 місяців тому +6

    EduFI model involves dealing with interest (usury or riba), which is prohibited in Islamic finance. They should consider transitioning to a more Sharia-compliant model.

    I love women entrepreneurs. She is trying to put her investor relations abroad to use in our country…and if she manages to pull off her vision then what does it mean for Pakistan? What it means is that a country which is drowning in debt will get international capital directed to
    1) our country
    2) to a sector that is very under funded by the government.
    It’s a net positive for Pakistan.

    unfortunately, this seems like a loan shark app, no offence, she never mentioned interest rate at which loan will be provided, on the website it is hard to find, also she lost thought process on 7 percent interest, it would be higher than 22 percent, or else, all those 4 million usd can go to the conventional banking earning more instead of investing here for a burn, no hate just my opinion, whatever you do you do great, tbt

    All that talk about education is well and good but what is the point of taking loans to get an education for which there won't even be jobs for, after you graduate. Sad to say there really aren't many jobs in Pakistan outside of tech and some business fields

    I'm concerned about the situation, as it appears to potentially involve unethical financial practices that could be likened to white-collar crime. Could you please clarify the interest rates on these loans? these graduates have no idea what is going on in pakistan are being specifically trained to target the market and take advantage of financially deprived individuals in Pakistan. This approach, driven by capitalistic motives, doesn't seem to address the underlying problems but rather focuses solely on business and market opportunities.

Then there is job shortage, so many people with loans might not be able to repay them thus creating more debt. I think she just her to try this out and she will be 1st to leave the space when things go south.
