I am Mexican. My advice: Avoid those all inclusive places and focus on the smallish boutique locally managed hotels. They are immaculate and beautiful.

I live in a humid sub tropical climate so I always appreciate these types of videos before the humid summer 💙
I stayed at the Krystal Grand in Cabos and felt the same way! Apparently they’ve been in the process of switching management and have been very understaffed. The service wasn’t good. But a lot of resorts in travel/hospitality are understaffed now because of the economy and recession so it is a lot harder to find places that live up to the standards we used to have. Still very lucky to be able to travel and I won’t take that for granted. 👌🏼

I had this color for years and omg loved it! I tried others but always came back. Nowadays, it ages me more than I like, too much contrast, and I keep my color natural, but it’s a gorgeous shade & so pretty in the sun !

I went to see the iberostar in Punta Mita last year as an option for my wedding as well and we almost went with that option, it's really gorgeous indeed.
Omgg Julia you came to PV, my home town! I live literally next to the Krystal Grand, and yeah its not a great hotel. But I hope you liked PV despite the negatives.

That Clio kill lash has got to be in my bag. Trying to wait till I use up all my other mascaras, but I'll be getting two. You go a bit more ham with your kit for travel than this rock climber lady, but we did go out for dinner a lot more this last time in Spain. Our hostess was just too sweet and we hung out with her and her friends more than in previous trips with other places. I don't have space cowboy, but my go to eye sparkle was an UD Stray Dog metallic minky gray for my brown eyes. Your skin is looking so fresh, it just made sense that you kept your foundation to a minimum. Gorgeous as per uszh.

Iberostar resorts are second to none, they're so good! I have food allergies and all of the restaurants are always incredible at accommodating as well. Also, I bought the Clio Kill Lash because of you and it's the best, longest wearing mascara I've ever used in my life!

Good thing you guys were smart and went in person to check that hotel out. Nothing like planning a big event remotely and showing up to a disaster. I'm going to try and pack similar to what you brought when I go on a caribbean cruise next month. Pretty, glowy and bronzed but not too much. I tend to overdo the eye shadows,lol

I’ve literally gone months without fulling unpacking after a trip. I just slowly pull stuff out as I need it 😅
I always forget you are in AB, our skincare needs are very similar - even in May I have to use 3-5 layers of good moisturizer plus some oil in each layer, just to fully rehydrate my face each night lol. I can slug and wake up with a dry face lol…
I highly highly recommend Torriden! It calms and hydrate your skin!

Awwww I love Puerto Vallarta. I went there on my honeymoon. I love it there. Mexico in general is just amazing. The culture, the people, the food (I’m also half Mexican so maybe I’m biased lol). So happy your cousin loved it❤

I work in a hotel. For weddings, in any decent hotel, be prepared to spend $$$$. Contracts, F&B minimums, attrition fees if you don't meet the contracted amount of spending, room #, etc. I can only imagine it being expensive in an international hotel. Maybe, maybe not.
Iberostar is a great resort. I also like the RIU Latino resort. It’s all inclusive and adults only if you ever want to go on a fun girls trip. They even have a water park on the resort. Again, adults only lol

Is the mascara hard to take off ?
What brush did you use to blend in the concealer?
Visited an island where my father is currently living and goodness my father would just spontaneously get up randomly to take us out somewhere. I literally had five minutes to get ready and be in the car so I’d half-hazardously put on my NYX concealer, some brow gel, a blush and a lip balm. I generally ended up having no time to use any of my other products or even have a proper method of putting everything on because of how quick I had to be. But it always looked really nice and felt simple so it was quite refreshing for a change !
I’m thinking of investing into travel eyeshadows, like sticks and singles, or even a quad with very usable and versatile colours. Any recommendations ?
Look at the Natasha demons little 5 pans. There are quite a few so depends on which colors you like. There’s at least 1 or 2 sparkly shades and some mattes.

I am an oily hog woman and even my bridal MUA was surprised at how oily I got. I am interested in trying the UD foundation (I’m a Lancôme teint idole girlie but am running out and this one sounds promising…!!) but I ordered a shade too light for me. I also got the first aid beauty tanning drops so I am sitting here like. Do I keep this shade and play doctor… or do I try a different shade…!!!! Not sure how it would work since I’m reading that the UD foundation sets fast. 😩 but I hate waste!!! Ahehejdjekfjdjfnjd
