    I am being tested in a way that is both uncanny and terrifying- my old beliefs want to hang on for dear life and yet I’ve been shown the way out so I’m denying those tendencies because the quality of my life is at stake.

      I think we’re all in some point in the process. I realized these things what you fear you are participating in, which wolf are you feeding the light wolf or the dark wolf, 20 years ago. So life is pretty good today. But things beyond our control, people are going to pass out of this reality and feeling bad. Choosing for yourself, that’s the best advice in the whole video. Because we ask others for advice instead of our higher self, but they are not you, so the stakes aren’t high for them! And unless they lived every second as you, they could not begin to advise you. So when you have a question, quiet your mind and ask yourself instead of anybody else. ❤

      @@davidcaressh2408 and your reply feeds the uncanny. I’m in deep solitude so there is no one to ask except higher consciousness. I can break this solitude at any time but I KNOW it serves me better to stay on this course. I’m also deep in mourning- the sudden loss of my fiancé last year was the most devastating and enlightening experience.
      Thank you for your insight. It helps!

      @@davidcaressh2408most definitely. Hard to silence the mind for most. I've found that wearing a heavy rubber band on the wrist and giving a good pop for every unwanted or negative thought through the day helps to retrain and slow repetition. Stop yourself from constantly thinking about sex or a cigarette, for instance.. a good tool to help overcome fleshly desires.
      During meditation, it helps to mentally say , "be still. Be quiet. "
      Every time you notice your mind interrupting the silence.

      I think we all are really, however it’s great that we recognise this and are able to reverse engineer the negative bombardment we receive. I wish you well friend, avoid people who are detrimental to your progress with their negative comments or whatever pisses you off , they are only trying to bring us down because when we succeed they can’t stand that we have made the efforts, anyway I should not go on about those personalities, it only makes them part of my psyche. So onward to being able to be better and stronger and happier.

      Definitely agree. I needed this in school as well and I'm sure there are so many of us that can relate to that. Unfortunately, if you look at the history of the school system, the last thing they want to do is instill confidence, critical thinking, a positive outlook, etc. Our current education system is based the Prussian system of education. Worth looking into.

    • @lancetehira
      @lancetehira 11 місяців тому +2

      In New Zealand I always suspected that if our education system knew what it was doing.... Unfortunately in the beginning everyone has to muddle through and nz's education system came from the British Empire but for conquered places so no one is allowed to speak the native language with continuous punishment until you learn and speak English, the same with tribal actions like support from one native to another is usually mocked (the teachers encourage this to students therefore teaching how to behave) the problem with all of this was that New Zealand since Britain conquered it is multi cultural so crapping on everyone else other than pakeha (and that's a smell by the way) leaves only one target for flinging crap back and the education system had this strange thing called donations where if your parents appreciate their children being mocked for being a native then they can put money on the education system ha ha ha! So of course nobody paid those things and the teachers acted like they weren't donations but mandatory which still didn't help without rush of sense to the head, which did happen of course! And when it did NZ became a good place to get an education.... But the growing pains though 😭😭😭😭

      Schools are indoctrination camps. Of course they don’t teach this. They also DON’T teach kids Logic in school, then they manipulate them their entire lives with VERY BASIC logical fallacies that they can’t recognize. This isn’t even close to an accident.

    You dont always have to be positive, if your family member, partner, someone you love dies you have right to feel sad, negative. Just be normal, you are both positive, negative it just what is the direction you want to go in life, follow that path, ask yourself what you want to become, who you want to be. Try to be best version of your self. ❤️💪🏽

    At around 17:00, your analogy about neural pathways being like paths through the snow really resonated with me. It's not just creating new paths in the snow. It's also about letting old negative paths be covered up by not walking down them anymore. The less you walk down pathways you don't want to reinforce, the more it gets covered up and sooner it is no longer a path to go down.

    David, THANKS for this video man. The RAS bouncer analogy is GENIUS. Tony Robinson's guru Jim Rohn called it "policing your thoughts", but you put a lot more meat on that bone. Positive journalling is active re-enforcement your RAS needs to stop negative feedback loops and definitely helped me to feed my brain with more of what I want in my life.

    What a great eye-opening vid David, very good to realize over and over again to keep your eyes on the ball, especially in the rather confusing times. Great tools to work with 👏🏽

    I found that meditation loosens the old program so we “notice” the thoughts. I think being able to notice is a big part of the battle. Then we start to have the control

    Over my life, I've been exposed to many people who look at this concept through a mystical, metaphysical lens, e.g., Law of Attraction, The Secret, etc.. While I agree that the concepts manifest, I'm grateful for a scientific approach to the phenomenon.

    I love manifesting and metaphysical theory. But it doesn't resonate with me to say I am infinitely wealthy. Because I know I'm not. But this science explains what we couldn't figure out and it helps me to be better able to work on my state of mind. Recently I got frustrated with all the things clamoring for my attention and I intentionally narrowed my focus and exposure. Social media has bombarded us with way too many inlets. Thank you so much for this clarity!
