Hi JUSA - I’m coming off a Spec Enduro ..a bike that is a lot better than I can ride. how does this compare please ? What is noticeably different? Thank you 🙏🏼
these mofos dont care to answer so I will, this turns much better in tight spaces, and is more race oriented in every way. A spec enduro is only good for rock gardens, this is good for racing and hauling ass, and not the most plush suspension, but it the bike generates speed better than any if you know how to ride it. It wants to go fast and demands aggression and being certain from the rider. If an enduro is too much, get a trail bike and stop looking at enduro bikes :D yeti is not for taking it easy. It demands skill and precision to get the most out of it. But if you want to put 10 k on a bike you have no need for but rides good, go for it
@@DandyHippo you’re pretty spot on. I bought the SB160. It’s not as confidence inspiring as the Enduro, but the way it keeps it’s shape in corners (without sinking in) is soo much better. I don’t ride it hard l, and SB140 would have been lighter and more sensible for the lack of charging I do. I’m not really seeing the fuss over the SI also ..
Did you guys ever test with a mixed wheel setup? I take delivery of mine tomorrow and fully plan on going mullet. Mike at Yeti said let it rip and to call them back with my experience
No, Kyle still has his at full 29''. We'd definitely be curious to hear what your thoughts are after you convert it over to a mullet setup... I'm sure there are a some people out there who have already done it, but I haven't seen it mtself yet.
@@sjbfire36 shorter cranks will help alleviate the problems associated with that BB drop, if that's any bit of a worry. Curious to see if there are any extremely noticeable geo changes
Still not ready for Enduro bike, I am perfectly fine with the San Quentin 2 bike that I bought from you guys in October 2021, & next thing on my list new wheels. #KeepPedaling
Yes, that was what Kyle felt about the two. The SB160 apparently has magical capabilities of reaching and maintaining speed... I personally haven't had a chance to ride one yet, but plan to try to demo one in my size as soon as the opportunity arises.
It’s literally a Specialized enduro with the infinity rear suspension. Hopped on a large and was shocked at how much it felt like my 2022 enduro ltd. Looked up geo. Its a dead rip off. Lol
@DandyHippo well I used to ride the sb5.5. And the last gen of yeti just didn't agree with me. And then this launched. And the difference you refer to, is kinda the same as the difference in an ohlins coil trunnion shock vs a rockshox air shock. You out either on the same bike and yeah.. it feels different... but ultimately I was saying the geo is identical. And. It is. And if you can't feel that similarity.. maybe you should consider not spending the money .
what crack has the old dude been smoking on? Rallon is a bike that does everything well and sure as hell is more playful than an altitude. Plushness and being playful have nothing to do with each other. An altitude grips and also doesnt corner tightly, normal turning yeah does well. But an altitude is best kept on the ground, rallon you can do a bit of all
Looks sick!! Nice video guys.. Keep Pedaling!!..
If I drive one I will end up buying one. My God that is a huge winner!

Sick bike
I honestly think the "best" enduro bike is the Pole Vikkelä but who am I,...

@@jensonusabicycles haven’t found anything online yet, just a matter of time I’m sure. Yeti said a 4mm BB drop is all

So the altitude corners better and the yeti is faster on a straight line?

Thats a good thing!
Look at 10 enduro bikes and all their geo is within mm's and 1-2 degrees of each other.
@travistweedle9674 yup. And look at this geo and it's a dead rip or of the enduro. Lol. Most are close. But this was more than close
lmao an enduro rides like sht compared to this, if you cant tell the difference please dont spend money on bikes you dont need
