This is by far the most bang for your buck, never will you get a watch with this integrity, this amount of watch, what an excellent timepiece.
Thanks for video
Alot of Rolex owners finding out Omegas watches are better
A wonderful watch!.Respect to the designers of omega, they are able to please fans of the watch brand.I wear these and I am glad that I wear this model. Thanks for the review!
Beautiful watch I have this watch in blue dial blue bezel titanium... Absolute gem
Just love this watch 😊
You my friend are wrong about the helium escape valve, it's to be opened in a decompression chamber, helium bypasses all the standard watertight seals and when at 1 atmosphere it would fracture the watch from inside out, hence the escape valve.
Calibre 8500??He is trying to unscrew the pushers! The helium escape valve doesnt do anything? ?? Im going crazy watching this review! Man atleast do basic research before reviewing! This review is a shame to the channel!
just picked one of these up. was torn between this model and the last model with the 3313 movement. always like the 3 dial look with numbers at the 12,3,6,9 sides, but the movement on this 9300 sold me.
This watch is 10X what a sub. is and better price. Also, 40mm is too small for a modern diver. Beautiful watch.
Mike Howard yep. Totally agree! Love mine! 🕶
I have the ‘no date’ sub and in terms of symmetry you can’t beat it. However I would love to get this as my next piece it’s a beautiful time piece
Mike Howard no real scuba diver would put their life on a watch alone, I use a Swiss made dive computer also.
You must also attach a snap strap to it just incase a pin breaks... It would make a treasure find for so body else lol
Beautiful clear video. I love mine and fyi it's a 9300 not 8500.
great watch, worn it daily, it is a heavy piece but its like my daily weight lifter
Do you still wear your Omega 600
You can operate pushers under water
OMG. The pushers have shoulders that match the crown and don’t have or require a safety screw down design. They are designed to be used under water which is extremely rare and engineered way beyond the competition. This is THE “hard core” high function dive watch. There really is nothing else by any other manufacture that competes with it. Rolex is still a few steps behind in their movements.
It destroys Rolex in every way possible,I have the orange bezel version, and no the crowns are not screw down, they work under water for that reason
Did i hear it right Caliber 8500? This is a caliber 9300. A 8500 caliber can never be a chronograph.
The reviewer clearly doesn't know the product he is reviewing very well as he was wondering if the chronograph features could be used underwater.
9900 actually ...for the latest one
My watch...!
Great review! This would be a great weekend watch. Not sure if I would wear it as a daily (given the thickness and all). The micro adjustable clasp from the Mark II can be put on this watch, and that is a game changer!
+Tom Franz Indeed, this is pretty close to a full-service sports watch. The movement is exceptional, the case and bracelet measure up to Rolex, and the full package of features makes Omega a real value-leader in this class. An Audemars Piguet Offshore 26470ST is better-finished but not better engineered or better equipped with useful features. At the same time, Rolex doesn't offer any like a diver's chronograph, so Omega has sole possession of the field in its price segment. Even Breitling hasn't really graced the SuperOcean line with its B01 caliber, the rough equivalent of the Omega 9300 in this Planet Ocean.
Best,
Tim
4:06 resets chrono while still running!
Does O.J. stand for Orenthal James ?
I'm looking to either get this or the Speedmaster moon watch (price irrelevant) as my second Omega ((300M)).
I just cannot decide!
It's always a tough decision when it concerns time you know!
They're both great watches, it comes down to aesthetics.
You may want to see how they look on your wrist too!
Good luck and thanks for watching!

@@the1916company Thanks, I'll keep you posted and why! I'm honestly leaning to the moon with the original finish Hesalite crystal (plexiglass) - largely for nostalgia and how it makes the face look.
@@OverlandTT What did you go with? After many demos.. I ended up going for the Planet Ocean on this video, loving it! I think I might get a Moon watch down the road, very slick.
Beautiful watch but how bizarre for someone to publish a so-called review when they have no idea of any features or specifications .
Is this the ceramic bezel?
Is it just me? .....Sounds like Tim wrote the review and he is reading it !! Lol
David Jackson No , Tim knows what he’s talking about , this guy has absolutely no idea of where he is or what he’s doing.
Ohhh yea 4:20 hes definitely sounds like Tim ghost writing his review lol "built like a mack truck !! Its your quintessential weekend warrior!!" Tim says this on one of his reviews about this exact watch
Anyways great watch !!
Review he doesn't know anything about this watch clearly
Is this watch still current? I can’t find it on the Omega website anymore.
What's the lug to lug length of this watch ?
so many mistakes in this review why not just re shoot it ?
what's the value of this watch?
So you dont actually know what the He crown does? AND you got the calibre wrong until you flipped it and saw the annotations through the caseback? please dude, go and review something else........ like ramen noodles.
'These Ramen Noodles are made from Potatoes and do not need hot water to activate. Oh wait, if I flip over the box, it turns out that it's actually wheat flour and you DO need hot water. Anyway, Ramen Noodles were first made in Alaska...'
He also reset the chronograph while still running. Not good.
Two screwdrivers & 3 hands to needed to remove links? This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. xD
how do you wind this thing
Is there a difference of the movement 8500 compared to the 9300? Both are co axials right?
Thinking of buying this watch with 9300movement. A good buy?

What is the function of chronemeter ? What are the use s of chrone meter in watch
Sorry I realize now that you corrected the 8500 to 9300 Calibre
+cashflownpv No problem at all! I try to be as accurate as possible, and I know OJ feels the same way about his videos.
Best,
Tim
Omega have created z dive watch which you believe can't be used under water .....jeeez! Try again dude!
im here because of henry cavill... this is the dudes most used watch
James Bond did wear this watch actually . Skyfall when he's on the bike chase on top of the bazaar. He wore the omega Aqua Terra as well in skyfall. I want the Omega planet ocean skyfall edition as well was the omega spectre Aqua Terra.
+♡ Kleinr Schmetterling ♡ (Liberty Schulz) lol it's not the character so much but the watch itself I think it's brilliantly crafted. those specific ones. The deep black seamaster is beautiful as well.
James Bond did NOT wear this model in Skyfall... he wore the 8500 movement.
This watch is exclusive for the very rich people.
No really. 6000-8000 usd
Simply badass
I wore this for 3 years+ and the whole screw crown came off when I was adjusting the time...
Then you have a fake lol
very sexy watch
+Hayel Areed Thank you, Hayel! Welcome to our channel, and please visit often!
Best,

42 mm estaria genial
sorry but what happened to the guy that did your reviews? I can do better. Sorry very sad, in fact you should not do this, it hurts Omega....
What an amateur handling a piece like this. Do not...do not ever push the reset button of the chronograph before pushing the stop button first. You can damage the whole movement...
Maybe do a little research before someone yells ROLL'EM
"He" valve doesn't do anything - really!!
