This is a top top song, I'm not sure why it was banned but by Barbados standard these days I can understand why.

It didn't get banned by CBC (the station bajans too love to say are the mouthpiece of the government) at any time. Interesting that CBC broadcsst the whole of Colin's performance at the finals by VoB didn't. Seems the rumour mill in Barbados is still strong.
