I like how people skip the plastic Canon film slrs because theyre cheap, unstylish, and not the real vintage cameras youd find hanging on people's necks. But they absolutely out perform the metal ones, especially with the amount of features they have for a cheap price, plus their compatibility with modern lenses is a huge advantage.
I’m getting this camera this weekend and I’m so excited!! thank you for this video, it explained perfectly everything I need for learning how to use this specific model. God bless
Found an old one of these in my parents house with two zoom lenses, probably hasn't been used since the 90s, gonna get a replacement battery for it and see if it still works! Something very cool about old tech
My dad had one for years. After he passed away, I took ownership. I wasn't sure what to do with it, since I didn't know much about it other than "My dad used it." Well fortunately UA-cam has put me on a film rabbit hole and got me pretty excited about filmography...so now I have this to get started with! Pretty excited.
It has a flash hidibng!?!?!? oh ma glob Ahaha I got this for $5 i love it!!!!! the zoom sound when you press the button then the sound of click/shutter 👌 definitely go in to use the multi feature what number did you have it on for your pictures?
Thank you for this! I just found on on the side of the road(family was moving) and I'm so overly stoked to have my own film camera. I have twins and always wanted to take pictures of them and no I can! Are there any recommendations on lenses?
Ok, the camera takes 35mm film, so I am curious how you were able to scroll through your shots on a screen? I can assume how, but I don't like to assume.
These days, once you get your film developed, you can scan it so you have digital copies. It’s something I’m excited to get into this year for my wedding couples. All the nostalgia of the 90’s. :)
Hi! Thanks for watching. Great question! I made a video addressing this very thing. The Basics of 35mm Scanning ua-cam.com/video/PhEX7ul3O0w/v-deo.html
Photos on film have to be developed first. You can send them to a company that does it or you can do it yourself at home. After they're developed, they can be scanned and viewed on a laptop for instance. What you are thinking of is a digital camera that can connect directly to a pc.
I have a canon are-1 and I’m receiving canon eos 1000f is it similar with shutter speed and iso or is it automatically set in the 1000f I can’t find videos to show me how it works
The Eos cameras should have what's called a DX code reader and it should set the iso for you automatically. There is sometimes a manual override but if you just want adjust it yourself. Hope that's helpful!
Man i hope you can answer this asap pleeease, my number of shots didnt change, so I opened the film and I might have messed it up. I was wondering if you know some way to take the film out mid roll, or is it normal for this camera to do thAT?
Hi, that doesn't sound normal to me. If there's a number of shots in the LCD that should be the number of shots you have left. There should be a manual rewind setting that's something that you can look up in the camera manual online. Sorry I couldn't help! Best of luck!

does the eos 1000QD also has this ME feature?
How do I use the Canon Rebel S with black and white film? Do I need to change anything on the settings? Thank you.
Do you change the shutter speed manually when you use flash? Or does it do itself?
The camera has an auto exposure mode to compensate for the flash. Thanks for watching!

Im starting out with this camera and would love some advice on how to configure all my settings. If anyone could help it would mean the world.
Photography and more's video doesn't do too bad if a job
congrats
I still to Av mode for the most part but I recommend learning your exposure triangle first like what aperture, shutter speed and ISO do.
Hey, thanks for the review! Does it have a viewfinder light meter pls? Thanks in advance
Thanks for watching! It does have a light meter in the same way modern dslr’s do.
Stefano Terrana great, thanks!

Stefano Terrana yeah the number of shots didn’t change in the lcd screen, even after a couple of shots, thanks anyways man
