Lol he starts out with the sha ka kah! on every video. Not sure what it means but its funny. And hes funny. I'm a guitarist but I still watch his videos.
i wish i had this guy as my neighbor so i could have the privilege of having him teach me how to play bass ..... still deciding between Fender Squier or Ibanez IJXB150B for my starter bass
Schulze Designs any bass player worth his salt knows that tone comes from the fingertips. If you can’t play it right then changing pickups, amps, strings or anything else won’t make it sound any better.
Same with guitars. The closer the pickup is to the bridge the brighter the sound. Im just wondering cos on guitars they have a pickup selector to switch from one pickup to another. I dont see how this works here with just knobs.
Each knob is a volume control, to get one or the other pickup, turn the volume up on one and fully down on the other. You can mix the pickups by having both volumes up at whatever level sounds good to you. Some basses have a blend knob that does the same thing with one knob. They will usually have a detent in the center that is equal blending between the two. There may also be a separate volume knob on those.

Sure, people drive corollas differently... but a corolla just can't drive like a corvette. Gear can make the difference.
