@Mis-understoodAsteroid thanks Al, I would have to store in my shed as my pantry is chocka. Not that I am complaining lol but if Carl brings any more il store as you advised. Well done on the award 👏 I commented but I still thunk youtube has me banned on your channel 🤣🤣🤣
Wow Tracey you have certainly had some wonderful harvests and the recipes you make are a true testament to your work. Cheeky monkey preferring shop bought 😉. Kitchen must smell amazing 😋😋. Have a super week, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦
A great batch cooking day. I don't know what's in that crumble mix you bought from the shop but I'd say to him that yours is shop bought lol wink. Yours would have much less and healthier ingredients I'm sure. I love your little grab and go pies. I'm prepping butternut for the freezer tonight. Elaine ❤️🌱
@allotmentjoy thank you for the idea 💡 I make treat boxs at Xmas with cake jam etc and these will be perfect for them x All the hard work is done so just a case of popping in the oven. Enjoy your butternut squash prepping lol 😆
Wow, that was a ton of work, Tracey! Good job! Did you grow that cauliflower? It was massive. It's interesting to see the differences in cooking. We put the flour and butter together to make a roux, then add the milk, for the cheese sauce, and add 1/4 tsp mustard, and some Worcestershire to it. In the apple pies we add cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and maybe a bit of clove. The raisins you used we call Thompsons; our Sultanas are yellow in colour and are processed with sulfites so I never buy them. For some reason, they leave the others alone. I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing your work.
@jonap5740 I can't take the credit for the cauliflower, I got that from my dad 😁 Some people will make a roux but this is the easy method as i tend to get lumps when makjng a roux 😅🤣 I bet it's lovely with a bit of mustard in the cheese sauce il deffo give it a go. I added cinnamon in the apple Crumbles but kept the pies plain but I have nutmeg allspice too so il have to try it 😋 Thanks for stopping by. 😊😊
@@traceysallotmentNcooking You would never get a job in a bakery. You fill those individual apple pies way too much. Trust me, l worked in small town one for 6 years.😂😃

@@TheRightPearPlot just a bit 🤣
I never want to see another apple 🤣🤣
if you make up a large bowl of water and add the juice of lemon and put the apples in it this helps to stop them going brown tracey.
