    Nathan, your videos are a pleasure to watch. I've watched a few of them and am suitably impressed. I'm no stranger to the peninsula, my first visit to Weipa no camping was available within the town boundaries then old Pax and Jessie Peel started the present camp ground.
    I'm a little envious of your venture down the Wenlock, I lived every moment of your film and I'm now far too old to attempt such. You should take considerable pride in your effort to portray the magnificence of the Wenlock and the wilds of the peninsula. My sincere congratulations and if you can, keep up your fine work. Cheers from Cairns.
    PS. I'm not a fan of tattoos, however, I thoroughly approve of the majestic palm cockatoo on your right shoulder. T.

      Hello Tim. Thanks for reaching out to us and letting us know you're enjoying the show. Its so nice to receive feedback like that. The Wenlock holds a special place in my heart as does the rest of Cape York but the Wenlock River is really special. Its almost as if time has forgotten about it up there. So glad you can reminisce on your time spent up there through watching our content.

    Thanks for another mint episode guys. One thing: I encourage you to get a subscription to artlist or epidemic sound or one of the other music websites. When you hit the threshold for monetisation (it will come faster than you think) I really want you guys to be able to make a bit of money off of the videos. It might only be a few bucks to begin with but the more you grow the more you’ll make. Putting in royalty free (but quality) music now will make it so you’re better off in the future. Having said that you make great use of the music you have put in already. Cheers legends, keep up the good work!

    • @WildReaches
      @WildReaches  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Floyd. Very true mate. I don't know much about the monetisation but I know we probably can't make money off episodes with copyrighted music. Ill start looking around for some good music elsewhere.

    • @FloydBromley
      @FloydBromley 4 роки тому

      Wild Reaches yeah man, try artlist as they have more cinematic type music that I think will better suit your style. I am seriously contemplating getting a subscription myself.

    @thomasgistinger1885 3 роки тому +1

    OK, I see where it pays to have a nice reliable boat where you go on your adventures.. It sucks that you have to spend soo much time worrying about crocodiles.. I take it there are some pretty stiff laws regarding firearms there.. I grew up in the Southern US and we had alligators, but they are not near as dangerous as crocs.. Now that I live in Michigan around the Great Lakes, there is really no danger except the weather.. Is the barramundi a fish that lives in fresh and saltwater?? I have always wanted to try it...

    • @WildReaches
      @WildReaches  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah but the danger somehow adds to the excitement... Fresh Water barra in these upper reaches where we are, but there are some big salties down near the mouth.

    Please support the barras belly when lifting them out of the water. Never hold them up by there mouths even the small rats.. people think they are doing the right thing by letting them go but your basically releasing a dead fish.

    • @WildReaches
